In case you hadn't seen this yet I thought I'd pass it on, please consider hosting a party or talking with a friend you can work with to find a venue to hold a party. We need many minds to figure out the stimulus plan and economic recovery and your voice needs to be heard.
Sign up to host an Economic Recovery House Meeting the weekend of Friday, February 6th.
Wouldn't it be great if we could get a party in every major town in Montana (and the smaller ones too). I have sent this e-mail to people in Bozeman, Billings, Great Falls, Missoula, and Helena, please forward this to people all over the state who may be interested, this movement is about us, the people and let’s keep it going to change Montana and America.
Please don’t let the scare tactics of Rush Limbaugh continue to run this country, we need bipartisanship to solve the economic crisis and rebuild our country. We cannot stand by as every house republican votes against the stimulus plan in lockstep, this is not a political issue, it is an issue that needs open discussion from all viewpoints and not just the Republican caucus (or Democratic one for that matter) to decide. President Obama ran his campaign on openness, bipartisanship and real solutions for America; let’s help him on the road to recovery.
Thank you and may your personal finances outlast this recession,
Nathan Kosted

So I am $23 away from reaching $2000 raised on my personal fundraising page and I was hoping that you all would be willing to help me show the campaign the strength that they have and how far we are willing to go to support Senator Obama.
Donate Here: http://my.barackobama.com/page/outreach/view/main/nathankosted
I am hoping for Donations of $9.60 or the percentage that Hillary beat us by in Pennsylvania, give more or less, but that amount shows the campaign we are with them.
My ultimate goal is not $2000 but $2300 which is the maximum contribution that one major donor can give. I know that like me you all could never donate $2300 yourself, but that is all the more reason to show the campaign that we together can achieve the same as one donor can give even though it has taken me 14 months to get there, when it takes a major donor just 10 seconds to write the check. Be a part of the over 150 people who have helped me get this far.
I know that the Pennsylvania loss hit hard, but to avoid the same kind of loss in Indiana or North Carolina on May 6th please help the campaign with whatever amount you can spare.
Thank You all for everything you do,
Nathan Kosted,
Montana State Director-Students for Barack Obama

So we received our first Montana Superdelegate endorsement in DNC member and Lewis and Clark County Commissioner Ed Tinsley last week as well having a huge day with the Obama money bomb event, I raised $1307.10, just on my personal page alone. We also were notified by the Montana Secretary of States office that Obama is the first candidate to be certified on Montana Primary ballot, along with wins in Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland we are doing great and moving forward.
Keep it up, great work everyone!
Well we are going to borrow the idea of Ron Paul supporters and see if we can get a concerted effort for everyone to donate at least $5.01 on Tuesday February 12th. It is Abraham Lincoln's Birthday and so in his honor we are donating the two currencies that he currently is on; the Penny and the five dollar bill. If you can help that would be spectacular and don't limit yourself to $5.01, you can do $10.02 or $20.04 or $50.10.

We drove 110 miles through snow storms and fights for the front seat. We Left Friday @ 2 pm and got into Boise, Idaho @ 12:30am Saturday. we proceeded to grab 2 hours of sleep bfore getting up at 4am to help volunteer and set up and run the event. Chris got a press pass and Andy was everywhere, I signed people in and wprked the doors until the fire marshall closed them with people outside and the 12,800 seat Taco Bell Arena had 14,000 people in it.
He was intrduced and endorsed by Cecil Andrus the former governor and then he gave a rousing speech. It seemed to be over in an instant, but it was at least 20 minutes. After the place was clearing out the volunteers were addressed by him and I actually got to shake his hand. It was incredible. The whole trip was worth it.
The future of America should be known in 24 hours...
I have the petitions in hand, we just need 500 signatures(though we will get 1000 just in case). If you want to help let me know.
Thanks,
Nathan Kosted-Montana State Director-Students for Barack Obama
