I understand and respect the fact that people are against abortion, but what is the answer for the life of those young life (the mother and the baby) that are going to be ruined because of a mistake.
The problem arise after the birth of the baby, what is going to happen to him/her?
The adoption system is very difficult and most of the time, the child ends up in foster homes.
We don't really know when life really begin, we don't really know when the Soul enter the body, but if a Soul is not wanted in a body, he/she is better off going in another one where he/she will be love.
If we were sure that when an unwanted baby is born, he/she will be find immediately a nice a loving family, I would have no problem to bring him/her to term....But the actual system cannot give that affirmation nor the church, so as long as the abortion is made within the “safe” time frame, it still looks to me like the right thing to do.
The big debate those days, all over the news is about health care, which I understand, it is a big issue for this country, but there is another Big Issue, that sounds to be totally forgotten: the way Justice work in America.
You people, do you realize that Justice is not about right or wrong anymore, the all system is based on making money to lawyers, courts etc...Generating FEES!!!!
Do you realize that you used to be innocent until proven guilty and now you are guilty until proven that you are innocent, which means that no matter what you have to pay an attorney to defend yourself and it is all about the interpretation of the law he will be able to make.
That is why you can see innocent people caught in the judicial system, with enormous amount of $$$ to pay, even for minor cases, just to prove they are innocent and on the other hand you can see murderers, rapists, pedophiles walking free just because they had a great lawyer and enough money to pay for him!!!
Is there any thing that can be done about this????
Today, I feel very proud, for my first election in the United States of America,
My voice made history.
I came to this country a little bit less than 10 years ago. I struggled over the years to become a resident; I fought for it, did my own paper work, and even during the times I thought I could not make it, a little voice was telling me…YES YOU CAN.
When I finally became a resident, found a good job, as I was watching my child growing in this country, on his way to become a man, I knew that I had to fight for his future, so I decided to become a Citizen of the United States
.
Once again, I did my paper work and few months later, I was blessed by the result: I became a Citizen of the United States only 2 month before this Election.
During the ceremony, I could not hold my tears.
My voice will be heard and will be part of THE HISTORICAL ELECTION.
The first African American became THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
And I have two things in common with Mr. Obama:
I come from Africa
I always had this little voice, in the hardest time of my life, telling me:
YES YOU CAN!
My Name is Nathalie, I was born, forty something years ago in AFRICA, My father was working over there and my Mom’s parents too, and from that beautiful Love Story, I was born.
Unfortunately, few months after my birth, my father Die in a Plane Crash on Mount Cameroon, I never got to know him.
Even thought I grew up in Europe, a part of my heart and my soul never left Africa and all the time I go back there, I feel its Magic.
