Dear Sen. Obama,
I know that you constantly get more advice than you want or need. I understand that you are taking the next few days off to go to the Caribbean for a well-deserved break. I am thrilled to hear this for your sake. I wanted to suggest that when you return, you forgo rallies and start a "kitchen table wisdom" tour. I suggest that you go back to campaigning door to door and addressing individual voters' concerns. I have been so frustrated in the past few days that all of the focus has been on whether you can connect with the democratic "base" (i.e. white ethnic voters). Well, I didn't know that this was the democratic base. I do conceed that they are a PART of the base.
Anyway, I think having intimate conversations with smaller groups of voters can show off how much you know about policy and could provide a good platform for connecting with them. I wish you great luck moving ahead and a Happy Easter to you and your family.
