Congratulations America. History has been made, and our country is faced with a brighter future. Barack Obama has been elected the next president of the United States and CHANGE IS COMING. This is the absolute right decision, and our country has not only taken part in history but has made a decision to change what is wrong and go forth in what is right. This is without a doubt the first step in the right direction, and all that can be said is...
CONGRATULATIONS AMERICA
WE DID IT!
Thanks to all who voted and supported Barack throughout his long and hard-fought campaign! Every little effort made all the difference!
CHANGE IS COMING!!!!!!!
It's times like these that I wish I was old enough to vote. There are so many issues that need to be faced in the world and sadly, being underage doesn't allow me to do my part and vote. It's difficult being under 18 and it is hard to be taken seriously, but we can somehow make a difference. I think I convinced my dad, and early McCain supporter, to switch his vote to a Democratic one. In a mock election at school, Barack easily got the majority of votes, with 6 votes going to Independent parties and only 3 in favor of McCain. So PLEASE, even if you are underage and unable to vote like myself, rally those around you to vote for Obama-Biden in this presidential election. It can make all the difference.
VObama-BidenTE TODAY!
Okay, guys. Only a matter of days left until November 4th. It's time to do your part and really rally all those around you to vote for the Obama-Biden campaign. Do anything you can to elect the right person to the White House. I myself am not old enough to vote, but I am telling every adult in my life to vote for Obama, and I am not afraid to show my support for him frequently. PLEASE do the right thing and spread the word NOW. We don't have any time to waste.
Barack Rocks!
VObamaTE NOW!
After watching parts of the debate tonight, I am CERTAIN the Obama-Biden campaign is ready for the White House. John McCain was rude and treated Obama as if he were a child. McCain talked down to Barack and took every opportunity he could to flash a smile that showed his true colors. Despite all the negativity being thrown at him, Barack handled himself with poise and grace. He always presented himself as educated and in touch with the American people. THIS is the man who should be our next president, not the aging, angry, war-hungry Republican John McCain. I will give McCain some credit where credit is due for being a veteran, but he makes for a good biography, not a good president. Barack answered all questions thoughtfully and thoroughly, and presented himself in a respectable manner. Overall, I believe that this debate showed us the potential we have as Americans for putting the right man in Washington.
REGISTER NOW TO VOTE FOR THE OBAMA-BIDEN CAMPAIGN!
All students attending a Salinas-area high school that are eligible to vote: I urge you strongly to please vote for the Obama-Biden campaign. There are many fellow students who would vote if they were eligible in age but cannot. So please, do us all the favor of casting your vote for your fellow students. Despite the fact that we go to different schools, we are all living in one country with one president. Despite differences between us, we must put them aside in order to decide what is right for ALL of us. Please do the right thing and cast your vote in favor of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. It's the best thing for our future.
(On a side note, good luck to the football team this Friday. Give our school a nice homecoming victory! Go Cowboys! =D)
I'm pretty positive my history class is entirely pro-Obama or anti-McCain if undecided. One girl has stenciled Obama's face onto a pair of canvas tennis shoes and our class has adopted forming an "O" with their hands when discussing a recent debate. McCain's symbol consists of two thumbs-down and Palin's is a also a thumbs-down. McCain's nickname is McCan't and many people are calling the Obama campaign Jobama or Obiden. Although we are not eligible to vote yet, I believe we students have a powerful impact on our teacher, older siblings, and parents who can vote. One step at a time, we can elect Barack Obama.
GO "O"!
