Some think we’ll forget….a war started based on lies and deception….no mission, no strategy, no plan that would facilitate true victory…our soldiers not supported, ill equipped, deployed beyond reasonable expectation...and the numerous deaths that have occurred in battle and by suicide as a result. Some think we’re confused....you know they mock us saying we follow a celebrity…..we support the candidate who has demonstrated integrity, grit, perseverance, wisdom, thoughtfulness and honor consistently ...you can’t give what you don’t have…..we’ve been shown what a leader looks like and we can not be fooled again. Some think we’ll be complacent….certain age brackets and ethnic groups don’t show up at the polls they say…..record breaking attendances at rallies, meetings, massive voter registrations – global respect and admiration….I see our young in those crowds but I see our young at heart too and I see it in their eyes - they’re anything but complacent. Some tout experience, honor and country first…I grant them that…..they have proven experience in taking positions and implementing policies that benefit only a select few; they have demonstrated lack of honor in belligerently attempting to hold all others to a different set of standards. Maybe you can tell me….what country are they referring to though when they say “country first”? I don’t see any evidence from their actions that they’re talking about the USA. Some think they’ve tricked us….but a token is still a token by any other name, no matter what race, creed, color, party or gender. Some think that we’re intellectually lazy…in the age where information is readily available faster than a nana-second…they dismiss the impact of our preparation, doing the research, and the application of critical thinking and examination…..we are not “Borg”…we are not the collective of the media. Some think we’ve given up...with homes lost, positions downsized, and millions of people without the ability to get routine, basic health care...they don’t know the true experience of sacrifice and the fight within the God-given human spirit when faced with what may seem to be insurmountable odds…..we call….we canvass….we get knocked down, but we get back up because so many have to be informed, educated, enlightened and encouraged. To the “Some”…not this time, not today, not tomorrow, not on November 4, 2008…you’re too late….Yes We Can!!!
