This has been one of the most exciting days of the campaign for me (with the exception of meeting Barack in LA!)
I have been saying for months that Joe Biden would be perfect for the Democratic ticket---and America. I have been a volunteer since Barack announced in February of 2007 and have seen this campaign at it's highest peak and it's lowest valley. When it was apparent that Barack would win the Primary- some put their egos and self-indulgence ahead of the Party and tried to cause disunity. Joe Biden remained a voice of reason and assurance that we would win back the White House. With him on the ticket, that goal is made easier! We have two great Americans with INTELLIGENCE and LOVE FOR THIS COUNTRY, and we WILL take back the White House 1/20/2009!
Senato Biden is one of the most respected members of the Senate. He is genuinely a public SERVANT and another "people's candidate".
Thanks Barack for making such a wise choice, and together we can!

As the convention in Denver draws nearer, I want to share my thoughts on the campaign thus far and what we can do in the future.
I am a volunteer, not paid staff, but my committment to Barack Obama is solid and even more important than it was 18 months ago when I joined the movement.
We MUST have a unified convention and we MUST show that we all have one goal in mind: To take back the White House in 2009!
The campaign is the most organized, best financed, and more inclusive than any I've been a part of, and I've been an activist since 1972.
We all must commit ourselves to working with all we have to see Barack elected.
The in-fighting, name-calling, and bitterness needs to end. Although there are those who feel it their duty to disrupt and "teach the DNC a lesson", it is up to us, the MAJORITY, to have our voices heard and see our efforts count.
I would love to have the support of other candidates people- because we ARE one party! I am not ready to let the voices of the minority and their bitterness to continue to have center stage!
Let us get LOUDER, work HARDER and campaign LONGER than those that oppose change and progress!

I, along with other Americans, have pretty-much been "surged" out!
The lie(s) perpetrated about the insane war in Iraq has run it's course. We need a SURGE OF HOPE and the only candidate who offers that is Senator Obama!
The surge is working?? Indeed. The war is being won? Please!
Let's unite behind the candidate who was against this insanity from the beginning! Let's unite behind a message of HOPE that only Barack Obama brings!
If you have any time, money or energy to spare, let it SURGE you into action!

We are blessed to live in such a beautiful part of California. Many of us who've spent all or most of our lives here are tired of the "same-old-same-old" and have decided to get involved in the Plot A Miracle movement...OBAMA 08.
We are determined that this part of our State will be a well-canvessed, well-educated, and well-developed territory for Barack Obama.

I have been active in politics since fighting the Watergate President. I heard Barack Obama's speech to the Democratic Convention in 2004 and was immediately drawn to the honest passion and love for our great Nation.
At the time I said. "Someday he'll be President!"
I live on a very tight budget and have had four back surgeries so walking precincts the way I did in the old days will be difficult....but I plan on contributing money, doing phone bank time and walking precincts for this man!
He's a breath of fresh air and "reachable". What a change from the attitude we see currently in the Oval Office!
I believe, along with Senator Obama, that change IS possible! Let's make sure we do all we can to make this happen!
