We've opened the Democratic Headquarters at 1129 West 4th (Rainbow International Building). open 10 to 6, Tuesday through Friday. Contact: 620-200-0279 - renodemo@earthlink.net - PO Box 622 We have signs, bumper stickers and buttons available. The office will be open for interested Democrats to come watch all 4 debates. Bring some snacks and beverages along and join us if you like. There will be a Presidential Rally for Obama on October 16 at 7 pm in the Salvation Army Facility at 815 N. Walnut. It's open to the public with refreshments, live music, speeches and a few surprises in store. Would love to meet new Democrats in Reno County. McCain has no trouble with reinstating Draft!

Oh this is something that parents and kids need to know. McCain has said today in an answer at a town hall meeting that he agrees that if he is going to follow "Osama Bin Laden to the gates of Hell" (as he is so fond of saying) that we may have to reinstate the Draft. Oh this man has got to be stopped! We are in the heat of veep right now. I just want to say that I think Biden would be a great choice! There are many good choices maybe some we haven't even been hearing about. Well anyway...have fun watching your phones everyone. I had a few meetings today that made my text sound go off, I can tell you made my heart stop several times. I'm sure watching for it.

We had a great time at the Emancipation Festivities in Hutchinson. Personally I think we did a very good job and made a difference. Not only did we register some new voters, We talked to lots of people. We propelled many of these people to think about their vote, some to change their minds, some to firm up their minds and even talked to some too young to vote who felt inspired to go home and help the campaign in their own home towns. It was a good day! Way too too HOT ....but a good day.

Emancipation Parade Sat. Aug 2 great

Chance to register some new voters. Thank you Liborio for your inspired Idea!!! We plan to register voters during the Emancipation Parade Sat. What a great opportunity. I plan to take a clip board, registration forms , pens and my feet. I plan to walk the crowd from about 10:30 to 12:00 The parade starts at 11:00 and should go from 12th street down to Carey Park where there will be a picnic.

Salina, Lindsborg

Hey everyone, There are two great events happening close to Hutch. I've been talking to a gentleman getting both of these going. I'll include part of what he has said here. Ones in Salina on July 11th, the Other in Lindsborg this weekend. I can not attend Lindsborg but will be attending the one in Salina. Salina will run late, late enough for me to go. I'm excited and I sure hope some of you will attend also. Sign up if you can!!

Hey, don't hesitate to come on up to Salina on the 11th, we will be there from noon until 10PM! We will be having the speeches after 5PM, so you can still make it to Salina if you want to, the Noon hour was scheduled to let the most local people gather a bit, it really won't get rolling until later in the afternoon, so PLEASe, join us there.

And if you can encourage anyone to come to the Saturday event here in Lindsborg, please do, we got a very inspiring video from the campaign and will be showing it more thanonce, I am sure. We will also be showing it at the July 11th event. ALSO, there is a July 4th tabling nationwide event I will learn more about this afternoon.

I actually got a call from the Chicago office, WOW! I was shocked, seems like they really have it together for this weekend, over 3000 events like this one.

So, don't hesitate to come to Salina on the 11th, if you get there early, we could uses some help hosting the event, greeting peopleas they show up and signing them onto an email list. So far it looks like James Bordonaro and Lee Jones will be there, still waiting to hear from a couple others, it you know someone who might want a turn at the mic, please forward them my email address.

And bring the kids to Salina on the 11th, we are going to videotape some of this event and send it back to the campaign, and I would like to have as many yongsters (of all ages) in the video if possible.

Now this may seem at first glance as though it is nothing more than a peripheral endorsement, however, this is a well established group and the reason because Barack speaks the truth about that gas tax holiday plan. I've been making some calls to Indiana and to Oregon today. Talked to some very nice people. Its not hard to do. And very rewarding. Sure hope many of you are making some calls to places like Indiana, North Carolina, and Oregon, or West Virginia too. End the Drama Vote Obama.
