A better script could not have been written! Obama's trip overseas was superb. McCain seemed desperate in his interview on "This Week". Let's keep the momentum going! Can't wait for the convention 8/25/08. Go Obama!
What a fantastic speech by Al Gore this evening! He looks so relaxed now that he is a "civilian". This Michigan rally will hopefully give Obama a boost.
The excitement is mounting and I hope everyone can feel the positive energy as we move forward towards the Convention. Yes we can! Hope will emerge and our hearts will be full.
All you Countdown with Keith Olbermann fans, I would be interested to get your feedback on Keith's personal comments today regarding Hillary Clinton's RFK asassination remarks.
I didn't feel the outrage as much as I just didn't see the connection of the point Hillary was trying to make. She is definately out in left field this time. Let's hope the Super Delegates put her out of her misery and come forward for Obama to get this nomination sealed. I don't see how Hillary dances her way out this time.
John Edwards, right on! The dream team - okay, so Edwards probably won't be Obama's 2nd in command, but they sure did look great together! What a sweet victory for Obama today!
Tuesday's primaries were magnificent in their outcome! Even the media is backing off of being critical of Obama and many influential media hosts are saying that Clinton is finished. Finally, the Democratic Party can pull this together and try to salvage this mess.
Hillary, dream on! And let's hope Obama is not pressured to ask Hillary to be his running mate! How awkward would that be?
Okay, can we talk? You would think that Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos would have taken great pride in presiding over the Clinton/Obama debate Wednesday night. I was expecting a very professional, thought provoking exchange. Instead, the questions were tabloid in nature and unbecoming of George. I think Barack's response:
So this is the kind of game, in which anybody who I know, regardless of how flimsy the relationship is, is somehow--somehow their ideas could be attributed to me--I think the American people are smarter than that. They're not going to suggest somehow that that is reflective of my views, because it obviously isn't.
(Barack Obama, Apr 16, 2008)
was very real and cut George off at the pass. Finally after 50 minutes, there were more substantive questions asked. What a disappointing so-called debate.
