Floridians. Now that early voting has started, it is extremely important that everyone encourage down ticket voting. In my area, we have a 20 year incumbent Republican Congressman, voted with Bush 95% of the time, yes, worse than McCain. If we want the kind of change we all seek, it is important we stress voting out people like Cliff Stearns in the Florida 6'th Congressional District by Nov 4. Otherwise, people like this will be obstructionists, and vote NAY on anything and everything Barack wants to do.

Carly Fiorino- former CEO of HP, now hooked at the hip to John McCain every single day, everywhere he goes
Mitt Romney- loves to push his previous CEO experiences as well as a Governor
Giuliani- ex Mayor, a CEO position, and still can't stop bringing up 9-11, it's why he lost his bid .
The governor of Hawaii- also, an executive, oh, and governor of a state that voted for an anti-gay marriage law.
And of course, Sarah- forget all the CEO stuff, start looking at her anti-Jewish statements, and insane right wing evangelical ideas, she may be the most dangerous person in that place tonight. A wolf in beauty queen's clothing.......
Remember, Corporate America runs this Party, with money, with lobbyists and with people. Remember, CEO's are the people who make decisions to send jobs overseas, remember, they give themselves multi-billion dollar raises and bonuses, while they cut jobs and salaries to increase profits.
Oh, they forgot to mention John McCain has never held an executive office, zero. Never balanced a budget, including his family's, since he is quoted as saying the reason he doens't know how many houses he has is because Cindy does the bills.
Don't be fooled, forget their rhetoric, the real message here is , we CEO's know best how to run your life.
If any of you watched ALL the speeches tonight, not just what the networks 'programmed' for you to see, now you know who you are up against. I've been saying this for months. You had the retired CEO of e-Bay, now working for McCain, the retired CEO of HP, Carly Fiorina, who is stuck to McCain's side every day, and all the talk about CEO's and executive decision-making as the only true test of leadership.
Corporate America is coming to fight you, so, hold fast, the storm is ahead, they will stop at nothing to keep you enslaved to their system. Don't break, you are on the verge of turning things upside down, do NOT lose heart, no matter what canned speech you hear.
Especially tomorrow night. Remember, it is all lies and distortions and propaganda.
I switched off all the network coverage Monday night, and haven't been back. Too many pundits, too many ads, not enough coverage, they only showed you what THEY deemed important to you.
Tomorrow, watch the entire evening on C-SPAN. No tallking heads, no ads, only the podium, every speech. No, don't let all the morons ruin your night, watch the event and enjoy. They showed EVERY speech, I cannot tell you how much you missed by watching CNN or MSNBC. Personally, I really don't care anymore what they think and their stupid questions, especially having the nerve to bring Giuliani and Romney to the booths to get their 'opinions'.
Take a night off from talking heads who want to tell you what to believe. Stop the madness, and enjoy the moment.

I am a sales rep for another big publishing company , no, not Simon & Schuster, although I did work for them 15 years ago. My own company would never be part of something so salacious and obviously false. But this is addressed to all you local Obama organizers out there. In the course of your running around, go seek out the local independent booksellers in your assigned areas. Although they are selling 'the book', their hearts are NOT with these kinds of tactics, in fact, I would bet many are not carrying it. I know them, the vast majority of booksellers are Democrats.
I would be willing to bet money, if you walked in with a stack of the Fight the Smears publication and ask them to GIVE IT AWAY FREE at the counter, they will.
Do not bother with Borders or Barnes & Nobles or other chain bookstores, they cannot make a decision at store level and their corporate management will likely say no.
It may not be a huge impact, but it will be Step 3 in Fighting the Smear book..
And I'm here to tell you, that book will drop off the bestseller lists as quickly as it popped on. But we will have beaten back their first attempt.

I've been working the past month at the local Democratic Party offices here in Clay County, Florida. We are in a 60-40 Republican area. I am working on trying to elect the first Democratic Congressman from our area in 20 years, Tim Cunha. The past few weeks, in various forms, I've met with the local Obama organizer in our region, and now working every day with the 2 guys manning the desks here in our county.
I've worked on campaigns in the past, namely in the 70's, and I have to say, I am simply amazed at the motivation and drive the Obama team is putting forward, everywhere. With this kind of organization, we can't lose. So, be proud of your team, go seek them out, they are at work right now in your area, go volunteer, go help make phone calls, get your friends, now is the time to make a difference.
We have regstered over 400,000 new voters in Florida the past few weeks. These are NOT McCain voters, I assure you. Help the Obama team make this happen for you. Get out there, get on the streets, get on the phones, but get involved.
Together, we will succeed on November 4. But, the darkness is descending, the swiftboaters are out with books, ads are coming, there will be a lot of dark times ahead, like today in Little Rock, Arkansas. Do NOT give up, keep working, keep showing your peers and others, we have right on our side.
