Dear God,
Please watch over Barrack Obama and his family and his many many supporters. Please allow the right thing to happen. It has always been my beleif that those who work hard, are sincere, and really do want to do the right thing are those who should be the winners and it should be the wise people to govern this country. Hilary Clinton has been the most negative, immature, childish, and evil (yes downright evil) opponent I have ever seen to bear running for president. I truly beleive this woman should not even come close to getting the presidency. In fact Senator John McCain is a much better person, more deserving, and probably wiser person than she will ever hope to be and can never be. Barrack Obama we are so fortunate to have someone so bright, caring, and hard working to give us the honor to want to help get into office. I hope dear Lord you hear my prayer and that of the many others who are in his prayers. Please do not reward the wicked for their bad deeds. This anything to win and I don't care who I step on or how much of a terrible person I have to be to get there has got to stop. American deserves better and we will gladly serve and be by you as always. The president of the US should not be someone power hungry and cruel. It should be given to one who understands it is to be a servant and someone who cares for all man kind (not just to line their pockets and reward their friends) and who understands what it's like to be like us---someone who has been there, someone who is gifted with the wisdom to guide the country in the right direction and that person is without question Barrack Obama.
May the Good rule and Bad be overcome so that the rest of the world who really needs help (not about one minority's, the Clintons & their big donor special intersests) ego) be given that which they need. Barrack Obama is a fine young man who without question will do God's work.
Here is my reponse (I am a Republican) and supposedly per HRC be offended by Obama's
comments. Lets just say HRC offends me instead.
I got together with my friends and they brought up the subject of your comments. I read them on the internet and was at first a little taken aback. However common sense always rules where I'm concerned. I dislike people putting "their" interpretation of other people's words. For example I was sickened when they criticized your sweet wife when she made that innocent comment and "they" decided to put the spin on it as unpatriotic. When it was pointed out that she had a thesis feeling like she never really fit in being a black female it become obvious what was meant--I always choose to beleive the good in people and the fact that she made the statment publicly (so obviously it was never intended to be with malice) makes me angry at those who try to put that spin on it. The same goes for your comments. You were trying to say something and it came out awkard in writing but it was said in public to a crowd who obviously you would not intend to put down--duh. So that the media and HRC trying to place a spin on it by saying you were trying to be condescending just amazes me. I wonder if people really are that stupid to beleive these things? The only people I know of who repeat this stuff are those who have an agenda for their "not" Obama candidate to win. Sad that superficiality rules for these people and the win at all cost mentality isn't just a Clinton thing. I like being direct, I like being honest, I like beleiving in the best of people--and yes I identify more with people like myself. Barrack and Michelle are very down to earth people who really care. For some sound bite taken out of context and use as attack points in an effort to obilerate all that is good and all that is represents by our candidate just doesn't work for me and obviously for many of it's supporters too.
Why Obama (here is my text to host of Republicans for Obama):----- Forwarded Message ----From: marina falls

I saw the article on http://www.timesonline.com/articles/2008/04/02/news/doc47f437585e11f737746298.txtIt's nice to meet you. Like you I am also a long time Republican (since Ford) and like many for the first time voting for a Democrat: Obama--this says a lot about the type of candidate that he is. I will try to be short since this is preaching to the choir. The illegal alien problem is a big issue to Republicans and it does have a bad trickle down problem: 49% of LA Unified School districts in California are children of illegals--people who cannot pay into the system and we all know it's breaking the system for us all--massive school cuts and layoffs are resulting and this is part of the problem. Obama knows that America cannot continue in this way: we cannot support more poverty while at the same time not being able to support our existing legal citizentry's poverty--it's a problem. So many politicians Bush, Schwartznegger etc come in before office promising to help with the problem yet once in they change to the other direction and seem more interested in courting their (illegals) votes. I beleive Obama is the ONLY candidate that can do something about the problem. He was notafraid to tell the large group of hispanics in Texas what his plans are for illegal immigration. At the same time he sensibly pointed out the need to help speed up legal immigration and to make Mexico economically more viable. The other thing that is REALLY important is that Obama does not NEED those huge numbers of illegal votes--at least not now. He's winning the election just from the votes of us citizens. Those crowds Obama attracts are real and yes they scare all his opponents but the man is the real deal. If we let the illegal pop keep going uncontrolled we know our votes (we citizens) won't count any more. All politicians will only cater to their votes and the U.S. will be Mexico part 2. While we still have a say we NEED a politician that can fix the problem that isn't afraid of not getting their votes.I like Obama on all the other issues too. His policies amount to the politics of common sense and brilliance. Also he's opened minded--does not think all good ideas are only his. I hear McCain and Clinton are very closed minded in that sense and if they want something they insist on it and won't listen to advisers. Scary: McCain got so bold knowing he is up in the polls and won the primary he started calling for what sounded like unilateral disarmament. My husband got real upset. He said we paid for all these weapons and it's just the "presence" of these weapons that have kept many a country from attacking us (a form of peace without war or violence). This has always been the analogy of those who understand the need to bear arms. Just the presence of a gun is all it took to stop a criminal from attack--in 90+% of the cases (my husband is very educated in those issues). Once we walked home from shopping and was followed closely by someone my husband reached into his pocket and the guy turned the other way. Problem was there was nothing in my husband's pocket--it was a bluff. Two days later a lady across the street got her throat slashed after walking back from the shopping by a guy who fit the description of the one who followed us.R/e Disarmament my husband also pointed out that why is McCain pushing for this when other countries are not even asking for this? Disarmament makes sense if you're a terroist country but we have been the opposite: more the protectors of other countries. There's a reason why countries like Japan see no need to spend money in that area.R/e Clinton: during the Clinton years Bill decimated our military. Layoffs were huge and technology esp. in the missile defense area was stopped. Bill also passed the largest tax increase in history and later after a surplus was created from this tax increase it was found to be so big that Clinton joked (this was towards his last years anyhow) publicly: looks like I taxed you (the people) too much--he laughs and then did nothing to change it. R/e Obama: Obama studied constitutional law. He understands the right to keep and bear arms. He says the kind of laws he should support are laws that would help us track down the criminals e.g. registration or if bullets can be traced to the person. That is a big difference between him and Clinton who actually "wrote" (not just vote on) laws to just ban guns.R/e missiles: I wasn't surprised when China was able the launch a missile to knock down one of it's own satellites. The U.S. was all up in arms about it but whose fault it is that we fell behind them in that area anyways. The Washington Post is very biased in favor of Clinton and wasn't above twisting the truth. They said Obama was liberal and Clinton was not: that Obama was for illegals having driver's licenses (they neglect to says Obama wants to make certain number of illegals citizens); The Dem party ingeneral wants to use these licenses to allow illegals to vote--I know Obama would not allow that; they said Clinton (Bill) aren't really that liberal because Bill voted for welfare reform ** (back then he had no choice and publicly fought the reforms tooth and nail) but the Post refuses to mention that or the fact the Hilary was also for illegals for driver's license and only "said" during a press meeting she wasn't when she realized that where she was and whom she was talking to meant she would lose votes if she said differently--again the Post neglected to mention that--all they wanted to do was write a dishonest article to claim Clinton is not a liberal and Obama is. I think Bill compliments McCain trying to imply that his wife is a moderate too. On the side I fell for Obama when I heard him speak during the Iowa debates on Channel 7. Did not know who he is, what party, what he looked like, all I know was that I wanted this man to be president. I am Asian heading on 50, working for aerospace defense, and have donated the max to the Obama's campaign by end of Feburary. Although I am voting for him just based on what the man had to say I will admit that because Obama will be the first non-white president he will be putting his foot in the door for all us races that are not white--and I admit that makes me smile.
**R/e Welfare reform it should be noted that Obama not only beleives in helping people get off their feet but also permanently by offering education programs and job programs in conjunction with monetary help. Welfare is meant to be a temporary program to help people get back up on their feet: Barrack always has the right ideas in mind. The more I hear him speak on the issues the more I realize just how remarkable he is.
