We have a small restaurant 40 minutes east of DC in Maryland, we have been staving off bankruptcy since thanksgiving, now we need help.
We need your help. We need to have a big weekend, and there is no hope for this without my begging for help here, and in every venue we are members of.
We need a weekend like we used to have before the bottom fell out, we do not need it every weekend, although that would be nice, we need it this weekend.
So it is Open Mic Thursday, karaoke Friday, and Saturday Night Date Night, please come to Shady Side for the winter events.

I read the Economic Stimulus Bill, it is a thiny veiled pay back to the Big Business Contributors for your campaign. .

I am so sick of hearing on the news that what is wrong with the economy is a matter of consumer confidence. So I am going to put out my personal information (mostly) here in DKos, Hoping and PRAYING that SOMEONE, who has the ear of anyone in the new administration HEARS (READS) what is really going on.
this diary will not be full of links and references, it is personal to me, this economic downturn, as I am poised to lose everything.
I will keep this as 7th grade'ish as I can.

Just to add injury to insult, it is MLK Day, there is no money in the bank, and I sent my husband to work, without enough gas to get home. I have no car....
