Senator McCain How could you be proud of your audience calling Obama a “terrorist” shout “Kill Him”?
Senator McCain, why do you make fun of and diminish the importance of “A woman’s health”?
Senator McCain, how can you lie about Obama’s record and run the most negative campaign in history and be proud of the campaign you are running?
Senator McCain, how can you vote with Bush over 90% of the time in the last 8 years and not be mistaken for Bush?
Senator McCain, how can you pretend to care about Joe the plumber, when you think being middle class is making $9 million?
Senator McCain, how can you say that you’re a maverick when all you have been is a sidekick?
Senator McCain, how can you politicize a special need baby for your own political ambitions?
Senator McCain, how can provoke violence and encourage racism in your rallies and feel hurt when somebody calls you on it?
The McCain campaign had already painted Gwen Ifill as in the tank for Obama and she caved in to pressure to go easy on her. As a result, the questions were like softballs, easy to dodge with no follow up and no insistence that she answer them.
It was clear from the beginning that Palin was well rehearsed and came across as a "Stepford candidate" who was programmed to say a series of talking point. On the other hand Biden was articulate, spontaneous, and very real and that’s what the audience saw.
I thought she was very condescending, and she give no indication of how McCain/Palin ticket would be different than the last 8 years. She must have said “Maverick” at least eight times referring to herself and John McCain. She used the words of Ronald Reagan a lot and yet she spoke and acted like GW. (I.e. saying “nucular” and being folksy and trying to be likeable).
She did not come across as a statesman, Biden did. She came across as out of her league.
She just wasn’t credible.
We are at 9-11 scale crises our nation’s economy is at risk of collapsing, and as we observe the two candidates what do we see? ·
In this time of crisis, who looks like he will actually work with the other side to come up with a solution?
Who looks more like leader who will be calm and collected and will put his country rather his own political ambitions first? ·
Who’s shown time and again that he will not gamble with our future?·
Who picked their vice president not because it will energize the base but because he/she will him govern?·
Who has real plan for America to go forward rather than stay the course?
The answer without a doubt is Barack Obama. On the other hand:·
Who’s surrounded himself with the good ole boy network and divorced himself from the problems of real America? John McCain·
Who is been in Washington for 26 years and has done nothing to actually help the average American families? John McCain
I can go on and on. But I am sure you get the picture.
On Barack Obama's site, there's a link that walks you throught it:

Mr. and Mrs. McCain are so phony and plastic, They have to make up stories so we can relate to them.If McCains want to know who's more Britney and Paris, they should look in the mirror. They attack and accuse O-Bama of things they are guilty of. So low and digusting.

We were sent to a primarily older white blue-color area of Milwaukee. I met an older woman who was a Hillary supporter and felt that Barack wasn't ready, but was not voting for McCain. We spoke about issues that were important to her and at the end she said she was going to vote for Barack. I also met many Barack supporters, and a couple of undecided voters, Not too many McCain supporters.
One older woman told me that she had wanted to vote for Barack but she heard somethings that now she wasn't sure. I asked her what she had heard and she said and told her that they were lies the he was Christian and he led the Pledge of Allegiance in the senate sometimes. So I think she was convinced.
Barack Obama has not only the right to worry about, but also the radical left. He’s trying to do this by not accepting PAC or lobbyist’s contribution. This means for him to have a fighting chance, those of us who want him elected have to all pitch in and contribute even if we can only afford $5.00. Just think about it if the average donation from Barack supporters is $50.00, he would have close to a billion dollars to spend by the time this is over.
We have seen him getting attacked and smeared from all fronts. No, he is not perfect. He never said he was. So many are using FISA as a reason to throw him under the bus and throw in the towel. The fact is we don’t know all the facts. We are too quick to judge without knowing all the circumstances. It’s never a black and white issue. We should give him a chance and may be have some faith in him. And even if he was wrong on FISA, it’s not permanent and there are so many other issues at stake here.
In this election, the choice could not be clearer. Four years from now may be too late to reverse the effects of global warming, to fix the economy, to restore our standing in the world, to solve our energy problems, to reduce our independence on oil, to restore our civil liberties and so many other things that are at stake in this election. Just think about the casualties of war, a possible war with Iran, the Draft, and crumbling economy.
I hate to be the bearer of doom and gloom, but we can not afford 4 more years of the same.
We can not wait. We all have to do all that we can. I am extremely worried. This is the first time ever I have volunteered for and donated to any political campaign. I am extremely worried about our country.
I hope you don’t think I am being too preachy. But I feel I had to express my feelings.
The stakes are too high. Please let’s do all we can to restore our nation’s glory.
Peace.
My dear Obama family:
Please refrain from name calling and insulting anyone who doesn’t share your views or doesn’t vote for Barack. It’s not constructive and that’s not the platform Barack is running on. Barack has said that there’s more that unite us than divide us.
We have a lot of work to do to educate people about Barack and his values so they feel comfortable about him. Just because people are misinformed doesn’t mean they are bad.
So please let’s not fall into that trap.
Love you all,
Mandy
