I think that dispite what some people are starting to say, Barack Obama has as good a chance as Hillary Clinton or John Edwards of winning the Democratic nomination. Remember, a candidate has to win or do very well in the first 4 states of Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. And, I think that more than likely, Edwards will win Iowa, Obama will win New Hampshire, either Obama or Edwards will win South Carolina, and Nevada will probably be a tossup. I don't really see Hillary winning either one of the first 4 states, and she may even come in 3rd in a few of them. Also, she is the front-runner, and we all know what happens to front runners! They don't win the nomination. Howard Dean was the front-runner for a long time, but ended up losing to someone who the media all but said was out of the running this time 4 years ago. So, I don't mind that Obama is trailing Hillary at this point, because it would not be good for Obama to be the front-runner right now. It is not good to peak too soon. He needs to pace himself and come up on Hillary slowly, but surely!
My dream team would be Barack Obama the Democratic Presidential nominee and John Edwards the Democratic Vice-Presidential nominee.
