AFGANISTAN--POTENTIAL OBAMA DISASTER

ANY ONE WITH ANY KNOWLEDGE OF HISTORY KNOWS THAT AFGANISTAN CANNOT BE PACIFIED OR CONCORED. THERE IS NO AFGANISTAN!! tHE AREA IS AN ANCIENT COLLECTION OF TRIBES, CULTURES AND LANGUAGES. THE PRESENT "NATION" WAS COBBLED TOGETHER BY BRITAIN WHEN THEY WERE FORCED TO LEAVE AFTER THE WAR. NEITHER MODERN DAY RUSSIA, NOR ENGLAND, NOR ANCIENT GREECE COULD SUBDUE THE TRIBES, NOR CAN BARAK OBAMA. BARACK IS EDUCATED, KNOWLEDGEABLE, INTELLIGENT AND POLITICALLY SAVVY. HE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO HISTORICALLY CHANGE THE US CULTURE FOR THE BETTER. MAY GOD AND COMMON SENSE PREVENT HIM FROM LOSING THIS CHANCE BECAUSE OF A STUPID, TRAGIC, UNWINNABLE WAR.

Dachale must go

I have worked for Barack, gave money to his cause, walked miles in Nevada, evaded dogs and angry republicans. Now he must be consistant with the message of change which we all believed in and worked for. Tom Dachale did not pay his fair taxes. He has questionable ties with health care industries. His nomination for Health Secretary must be denied. If Obama continues to support him, The thing with feathers that perches in my soul (Hope) will have flown again, and I doubt I will be able to get it back again.
