Too few people who were so passionate that they did anything more than complain. People who let two presidential elections be stolen and sat complacently - didn't march, didn't protest, just grumbled.That time has passed.Here is to more activists. We can't afford to be apathetic to an environment on the brink of no return, an economy that is collapsing in on it self, and a perception of arrogance that has turned the world at large against our government. We will not be complacent in the face of a war without a foreseeable end and a future for our children that involves poor education and poorer health care.I embrace the term activist, but Senator Clinton and her advisors are wrong about one thing - it's not just the caucuses that are bringing about activism. It is the primaries. It is the rallies. It is the discussion that is now underway between party walls that are disintegrating around us. It is once again believing in the word United. It is a new day, we are turning a page. And from this campaign forward, when you look up ACTIVIST in the dictionary you will see these three words. Yes. We. Can.
