For a brief moment I questioned Barack's touring the Middle East and Europe.
"They" will say he thinks he's wrapped up the race and made it across the threshold of the Oval Office.
And then, that moment was over.
I'm proud to see our presumputive Commander in Chief act like one and pay a visit to the neighbors.
We could all take the lead and just go visit the neighbors, yes?
I watched and listened to Barrack's speech after the Jeremiah firestorm and noticed how rarely he looked at his notes. A leader is someone who doesn't need notes.
He said we could retreat to our respective corners and not have the race conversation. I believe America is eager for the conversation and, as a result of his words, are actively engaged in it. It appears that America is now engaged in a way that goes beyond attempts to secure 'racial reconciliation on the cheap', but rather in a way that has the potential to produce lasting results for the good of all.
