This decision in my mind makes him a one term president. People might vote for him again but as far as enthusiastically working for him half of those people won't be there in 4 years. HUGE MISTAKE.

The entire world watched this election closely. They celebrated when Obama won. They also know that animosity that took place during the primaries. The race baiting, Hillary's base of "hard working white people" etc etc. Foreign leaders must believe the SOS is speaking 100% for the POTUS. If they do not they will play you like a fiddle. Get ready to be played big time if the HRC selection goes through as it appears it will.
She may be well liked in the world or well known aka "celebrity". She is not a diplomat. Drama is the first word that comes up when you think of Clinton and that is once again being played out in the press. Will she or won't she ? Will the world survive her career aspirations ? Has she really gvien up on seeking the presidency?
How many times does Obama need to be smacked to realize the Clintons are NOT his friends. Lincoln brought in his "team of rivals" under extraordinary circumstances. This country was literally dividing. Many of his rival's supporters did not know Lincoln. Lincoln had no internet or youtube to contend with. He did not have a press and a world of bloggers to hang onto and twist everything you say and looking for the "meaning" in it .
I did not vote for Abraham Lincoln or the ghost of Abraham Lincoln. Nor did I vote for the reincarnation of the Clintons. I voted for barack Obama who promised to "turn the page". He was a chance for a brand new start. A clean page. Intelligence without bitterness. Honesty. Transparency.
No more. We see day after day the Clintons taking over. The final nail in that coffin is the selection of Hillary Clinton for SOS. Zero foreign policy experience, not a diplomatic bone in her body. Zero knowledge of global economics which will be important in this environment.
Was there a deal made for Hillary to campaign for him? It appears there was.
As empowered as we all felt during the election, I feel helpless to stop this. I feel like our voices are NOT being heard. I understand the "slick" move it MIGHT be politically. I didn't vote for Obama for slick moves. The Clintons are very slick and slippery.Trusting them is like trusting a rattlesnake to give up it's fangs.
My voice will be heard in 4 years. And it will be singing a much different tune. I wonder what Obama will campaign on next time ? Change is certainly out the window.

I know about team of rivals but I want a presidency based on the here and now, not based on some romanticized idea of Lincoln. I really wish we knew who was being considered for senior cabinet postions, but if people had know Hillary I don't think Barack would have won. Maybe but it would have been a much closer electoral vote.
I wanted to be rid of the Clintons once and for all. Now they will run a shadow government. Hillary following Barack's foreign policy is just a hope but I doubt that will become reality. And Bill well nobody can control him.
Why Barack wants to start with this much contoversy is beyond me. I am sure he has his reasons. And I'll have my reasons to not vote for him again.

Through the last 2 years I've watched you. I may be the only person in America who actually watched all 22 debates, long before Iowa caucus. I've watched you become a better debater. I've watched you stay calm while I screamed at the TV. I've watched you hit back on issues but not do personal attacks. I've watched the world fall in love with you. I've watched you take on the Clintons as competitors and then work with them to win. I've watched your lovely family. I've seen this country grow and embrace you. You inspire us and you inspire the world.
Now I've seen this country choose you to be the leader of the free world. For all that this country has been through during the last 8 years from that horrible day on Sept 11th 2001 to 2 wars to Katrina to our current economic crisis, now I see us collectively choose you, choose sanity, choose fairness, choose unity. In spite of all we have done wrong as a country -- last night we did the right thing simply because it is the right thing to do. You make me proud of my country again and I have not been in 8 years.
