Act now to get the best candidate in decades elected - Obama 08

Stand up with courage for Samantha Powers

I implore Obama to not accept the resignation of Samantha Powers. He has denouced the "monster" comment and Powers has apoligized multiple times. Now is the time to show America, that Obama is beyond what is politically expedient (which would be to accept this resignation). He should stand up and say that these comments were unfortunate, but hardly outweigh the qualities of this advisor. She sounds like a very accomplished woman and he should show he is not going to throw dedicated, qualified people under the bus over something so silly. He needs to turn this to his advantage and stop letting the Clinton's dictate the direction of the campaign. The Clinton camp are acting like an elementary playground bully. Now is the time to show those commander (campaigner) and chief skills. Stand up for what is right!
