It was so great to vote this morning. My husband and I were the first 2 voters at our tiny precinct in Chattooga County. There were about 10 others there and I was told that 60 people voted early. Sometimes that's all that vote!Keep up the good work and please join us tonight for the results party!

I'm venting again. We've ordered 200 signs and still do not have them. It's so discouraging. Our county is being plastered with McCain signs and we have so many people who want a sign! I honestly think all of our signs are alreay claimed!
Before I begin, let me say that I am proud of the work that has been done in my area. Everyone I talk to is full of hope and ready to work.
In Chattooga county the sign stealing has begun. As soon as the McCain, Mullis & Saxby signs went up, ours came down. Not just Obama, EVERY DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE HAS HAD SIGNS STOLEN! This is just ridiculous! My Obama sign that has been in my yard for many months was stolen yesterday, out of MY YARD! This has never happened to me before. Even when Kerry signs were disappearing, no one took the one in my yard.
Not only does this make me mad, it makes me want to fight harder! So congrats Repugs, I'm even more firied up for Obama now!
Now ...I have several orders out with the Obama store. I have received parts of 2 of them. My items are for our headquarters and we are out of signs. As you can see, we now need a lot of signs. I've emailed the store twice with no response. No one has ever called me to tell me my stuff would be late, and it has been over 2 weeks on some of my items. I tried to call and got a recording to leave a message. Guess what? You can't leave a message because their mailbox is full! I finally got a human, but she couldn't help me. Someone would call be back to tell me where my order was.
I'm not holding my breath.
I am excited about Hope in the Park on September 27th in Summerville. Everything has come together nicely and I wnat to say thank for all the help so far!I hope to see you all there!
Come to B'Rock the Park on September 27th at Dowdy Park in Summerville from 10am - 2pm. The Chattooga County Democratic Party is hosting a voter registration drive with music and BBQ. Our local candidates will be on hand to speak to everyone and give out information. The party will have an Obama table set up.

After Barack's comments I feel I must speak. I took 2 years of Spanish in our public school system as required to graduate. I can not communicate with a Spanish speaking person, just a few phrases. I can count and tell you a few foods and colors. This is all I got from my 2 years.
I would LOVE to know another language or two. Many other countires know 2, 3, even 4 languages. Why can't we? We aren't an island, we are part of this world. We should know how to communicate with others!
