There are so many issues to deal with right now, I am not sure where to begin. But here is a visceral one for you.
I still get the info from the Hillary site as I wanted to see what was going on with them during the primaries. Today, today one came up again, again thanking her followers for their backing and of course asking for a donation. But that was not the issue. The banner of the the communcation said Hillary for President-- big and bold.-- This had nothing to do with the 'sponsored by Hillary Clinton for President" that ran across the bottom of the communication. I truly could not believe my eyes and sent them a seething response for her to get over it!
I want her to be behind Barack and show the smart person she is, but this does not.

Barack is taking the high road. A "little" HRC encouraging win plus her unethical digs have unfortunately helped her.
My advise, work however you can...the signs, make calls (by the way this is fun and easy!!) Yesterday I talked to an 81 year old lady named Melba in Wyoming for a half an hour. She was not committed yet, but a very smart and intelligent older lady. I think I got her for Barack....very positive. She told me she tol a Clinton caller that 'she would not vote for HRC if she ran for dog catcher!!) I asked her who she would vote for and she was undecided.....after half an hour...she was going for our candidate.......and taking her husband too!
after leaving lots of messages, it was great to have an intelligent dialogue with an interesting, elderly lady with strong ideas yet open for discussions. She was not just lonely, she was smart and said she had already gotten 5 calls that day from various camps.
Anyway, signs, call, talk to your friends and defend Barack from the twisting of the facts. I can't believe how scewed the headlines can get. I was a former journalist, the mind set is grab the attention and negative sells.
does any one think Powers should come out with one big positive statement for Barack right now???
Does anyone think Barack should use the girl in the 3am add that is now solidly for Barack.???
I hope the campaign reads these because everyone comes up with some good ideas.

I just finished making some volunteer calls in Georgia. This was a very easy way to promote Barack..I have to say,most people were not home and I left a message, but I tried to do a personal and most affective job. I am a Professor of Communications at a University and I am not impressed when I get political phone messages because they sound read. The text is important to follow, but if you do this, put your own self into it as much as possible....I think only then will it get heard. I also added to the message to vote, get their friends and also vote in the general.
