Madison, Wisconsin local progressive talk show host, Lee Rayburn, has been getting calls from Democrats that are receiving absentee ballot forms from the McCain campaign. One caller indicated that the return address for his polling place was incorrect. This would have invalidated his ballot. Rayburn also had a story about polls in Ohio receiving absentee ballots printed by the McCain campaign (being sent only to Dems) that have errors (such as too many check off boxes) which also invalidates the ballot in that state.
Anyone else heard of this going on, pass it on to the Obama Campaign and/or the DNC.
I'm here to be abused by all of you who have done this for eons. I've never blogged. By your standards, I'm at least prehistoric. But, I have some things to say.
1) I was born the year JFK was assasinated. My mother was an Irish American Catholic in love with Camelot. I was indoctrinated at birth.
2) I was little girl growing up in Memphis the year Martin Luther King was assasinated. My Dad is from Mississippi and my Mom was from Wisconsin. He converted to Catholicism (Yikes) and she hated living in the South.
3) They were Conservative and Liberal, respectively. I'm schitzophrenic, politically. Kind of Teddy Roosevelt on fluoxetine.
4) I live in Wisconsin, my Mom is long gone, my Dad is a born again Mississippi Christian, and my daughter is adopted Peruvian Indian.
I want the political landscape to remember America's ability to say 'can do'!
Not this, 'We can't change anything' attitude.
