Hello all, let me start off by introducing myself. I volunteered with the campaign for change and I hope to continue changing things. I am listed as the administrator for Team 4 but our team was merged with others early on and I lost my fancy title when others dropped out. There is a link to one of my contacts from the campaign who is now in charge of the new group. Annmarie is the groups administrator for my area I believe, and then there is someone else for northern Macomb County. So far, I know of at least two meetings that have taken place the last one on March 8th so expect the next one roughly in another month. I think the second Sunday is still the agreed day the place may have changed. I have missed both meetings, not for lack of wanting to go, but through being over committed already so that is why I need others to join up in my stead.
I have a link on my Facebook page from a recently started group by some Obama volunteers. I haven't been able to attend the meetings yet to be honest but I support what they are doing. If anyone is interested check the links and updates I have. I am also the current Management Vice President of a local youth membership organization. It is the ShoresAreaJaycees which is interested in providing volunteering and growth opportunities for people 21-40. I hope to work closely with other organizations to help fulfill my role gain ideas for the upcoming events.
