The only mention of McCain's VP pick should only be to cast a bright shining light on how rash, reckless and desperate he is and how very far he has strayed from the center. He is being held captive once again, as a P.O.W. No wonder he is so obsessed with saying it. He is now a Prisoner of W. This pick makes tranparent the fact that he is no longer his own man.
The far right wing radical faction of the GOP has completely hi-jacked his candidacy. If McCain were in charge of his own campaign, Lieberman or Ridge would have been his VP not this Ann Coulter with kids whom McCain doesn't even know. McCain is a complete puppet at this time and his puppet masters are the evangelical right.
McCain is now a tool of the evangelical right. He is the front the evangelical right is using to fool reasonable centrist voters. This is not a time to run a right wing candidate but they have clearly not ceded power to the centrist candidate they have selected to trick the voting public.
As centrist as McCain might have been, he has no power to be who was. He has become a tool and his (?) VP pick has made this fact absolutely transparent. We must destroy their tool. He IS the evangelical right now. This is the real hiding of the ball.
He has licked the boots of Bush, Rove, Limbaugh all of whom attacked him relentlessly in 2000 and destroyed his candidacy. No self respecting man would ever have anything to do with them. This man has lost all self respect. He is a broken man. Bush and the far right have done what the Vietcong could not do. The have broken John McCain.
John McCain is now a desperate and weak man. He couldn't stand up for his own principles. He couldn't stand up to the evil of Bush and Co. He is weak! How is he supposed to stand up to the terrorist of the world when he has bowed down to the likes of Bush and his legion, those most responsible for bringing America to it's current state of near collapse?!?!
Contrast that with Obama who was under all the pressure in the world from inside his own party, from the media every where to put Hillary ( and I do love her) on the ticket. He didn't cave in.

"ALERT: I'm still checking this out here in Denver because I've not yet had the chance to listen to Sarah Palin's speech in full. But a CNN.com post brought to my attention this serious breach of military and national security during her introductory address: << Today we found out that the Republican Nominee for Vice President is Governor Sarah Palin. I have watched all the debates after her acceptance speech and no one brought up the fact that she, in front of a worldwide audience, broke Operational Security the Military prides itself on. She announced the MOS of her son serving in the Army, and went on to say the exact date and the country her son’s unit will deploy too. She has not only endangered the life of her son, but all the other soldiers in his unit. Senator John McCain never talked about his own son’s service for that very reason. The republicans are running scared thus the attacks have become more and more desperate. The latest desperate attack is about Obama's staging that invokes for anyone with half a brain, the Lincoln Memorial and the "I have a dream" speech as well as the architecture of the birthplace of democracy. Considering how our democracy has been torn to bits by the republicans and how the aim of Obama's campaign is to restore that democracy, the historical nature of this campaign and the date on which Barack is accepting the nomination, this staging utterly appropriate.
Being the low lives that they are, the republicans are calling it the "Temple of Doom". I must say that I agree. It's the temple of THEIR doom and they are very affraid.
Is pure fire!!! It must be seen and shared. He sums up everything that has gone wrong with America under the republicans. Never forget.
We have exactly 2 friends in the MSM, they are Keith Olbermann and Jack Cafferty. There is no such thing as liberal media bias. The media is corporate owned therefore is invested in having a republican in office who will continue to promote the interest of corporations over American citizens. Turn that sh** off. I grew up near Trinity, listened to Jeremiah Wrights sermons on the radio, attended Trinity on several occasions. From my REAL 35 years of experience, I can say for a fact that Reverned Wright is no anti-american monster. Those that support Barack because of who he is and what he stands for know that he would never align himself with a pastor who was the antithesis of his own core beliefs. I would suggest to you, If you live near Chicago or will be in Chicago at any point to please Visit Trinity and record your experience on this blog. It just amazes me how a church with a luminous 35 year history of serving it's community and welcoming people of all colors, could be so instantly painted as monsterous. As we lift Barack Obama up, let us lift Trinity up for they have been under tremendous attack as well. Trinity has 8,000 members. To have been painted with such a broad and inaccurate brush must be deeply wounding for all of them.
