I am worried about what the media is saying. Although I am not a believer in the hypadermic needle effect of media, I know it does persuade. In 2004, I took a political science class that followed the primaries. According to my prof. the scream heard around the world should not have had that big of an effect on the election. But as we all know, it did.
We have prided ourselves by participating in a clean campaign. I don't see Hillary Clinton making a big mistake anytime soon. She is lying low while the media has a field day. I don't suggest that we attack, but we need to find something to shed a positive light over here. We need to talk different issues other than the war. I know it's important, but people are worried about gas prices, groceries, housing markets, general economics. Personally, I worry about health care costs and autism research. That is personal to me. What about immunization protection? I've read that Obama is against Thirmasol, well so is everybody. What will he do to the CDC who continues to pass the same garbage... immunizations are safe. Now that is a whole other arguement (by the way I am not anti-vaccine.... just think they need to be spread out more).
Ok that's it for now, my head hurts. But I"m worried.
