The last few years of my over 42 years with General Motors Corporation was spent teaching in the instructional department . At first I taught the General Motors Global Manufactuing System modeled after the Toyota Production System . Then I taught team building , conflict resolution and other people skills to support the people aspect of the Global System . I was sent to the UAW-GM Human Resources Center in Detroit for Diversity training and was in training to coach production teams when I retired last year . With over 40 years working in many different areas of our automobile assembly plant I was able to use theories in teaching with real life situations and stories to engage and interest the employees in training . Our plant has used the team concept since 1996 . Todays corporations use teams to manage the business , they are closest to the work and best able to determine needs and allocate resources . We are all connected with this site , we need to share ideas for success . I do not claim to know it all , and will make some dumb suggestions or stupid statements . But being a small part of the whole , helping in little ways , supporting the candidate , moving the cause , maybe motivating others is what this is about . On Feb. 26 I was elected as a Barack Obama delegate from my district to the Delaware State Democrat Convention .

We may have to prepare for an Obama/Clinton ticket

Recent events make that idea seem remote , and many of us have a harsh view of Hillary's remarks , however for the good of the party and country we may have to work for that ticket . There are some good points to mention that Hillary and Bill have " enabled " Barack to conduct a better national campaign against McCain . Who better to convince voters that Barack is qualified than his most vocal opponent . Who really does connect with Appalachian voters , with older women ? Bill would be a powerful assistant in our campaign . We may have to forget transgressions by the Clintons , and swallow some pride . But we won the nomination . And if we want to win the presidency , unite the party , unite the country , change the world.............we must accept Barack's decision and support the ticket . Would his choice be consistant with the campaign and what he has said in the past ? Regular politics of old would dictate that Hillary has no chance as VP . The politics of change would be forgiving our opponent and embracing the future . If we can not find a way to work with everyone in our party , how can we expect cross party cooperation ? How could we expect to face and solve world problems ? After one year of this campaign I would rather have Hillary Clinton fighting with me rather than against me .

Hillary wants to run in 2012 if she is unable to be the nominee this year , so she is working to destroy Barack's chances of ever being president .

Polls will reflect the negative feelings over Rev. Writght's remarks and change Barack's standing in the race . It took some time for the " I have a dream " speach to be recognized for it's importance . Other future events will dim the focus on remarks from his pastor . People will correctly judge Barack by his own actions and words . We can still win !

To anyone that has space for sleeping bags............get ready for out-of-state help . They will need transportation to and from bus/train stations . Meal help will be appreciated . Keep these needs in mind , bring them up at group meetings . Pre-planning will prevent lost time campaign waste .

I think the outlying counties of Philly appear to hold the outcome for the state . Delaware , Chester , Montgomery and Bucks counties need the most attention from the campaign . What do you think ?

Posting events..........its easy and fun

Posting events is easy , just go to the right side of your page and click " Events " . Any and every small event should be posted here . By posting here you enable anyone within 100 miles to see what is going on in the campaign . Also the national campaign is kept informed of activity within the state . In the past I hosted debate watching parties , primary results parties and live in-house telecasts . All events were posted in the events section so others in the state could attend . Anyone in your group can post group events . Have fun !

Obama visit expected..................

I expect , but have no firm information , that Barack and/or Michelle will stage a rally in Gettysburg , close to a few collages and a city of historical significance . Many people visit weekends so I hope they consider that . My point is many volunteers will be needed to assist the rally . In Wilnington , De during a Barack visit volunteers roamed the entrance lines , lines to clear security for the event , taking names and addresses . After passing security other volunteers gave out sheets of papers with the names and phone numbers of registered democrats , one on each page , each page different . Shortly before Baracks appearance everyone was asked to use their cell phone to call the person on their page from the rally . Parking , crowd control , pre-planning will be needed . If they come there may not be a lot of advance warning , so keep the possability in mind and be ready to help on short notice .

Group Administrators for Obama - Collaboration Group
Of course call registered democrats in upcoming primaries and donate to the national campaign , but there are a few other things you may not have thought of . How about joining groups , such as in Pennsylvania , and adding friends there to your network . Share your experiences and ideas . Prevent them from time wasting mistakes with your advice . We can win Pennsylvania .
