The Truth About Barack Obama: Fairy tales can come true, it can happen to you If you lie a lot... For its hard, you will find, to be narrow of mind If you lie a lot.... You can go to extremes with impossible schemes If you lie a lot.... Obama's theme song, a parody on the song Young at Heart.... Obama is a man of many backgrounds, emotions, confusion and re-inventions. Many people who come from troubled backgrounds where there is not a consistency wind up not sure of who they are or what they are searching for. This is Barack Obama: Someone who tells a great, mesmerizing story. And that is what it is, a STORY. It is couched in half truths and changing rhythms. In his book "Dreams from My Father" (how can he have dreams FROM his father who he only met once), he says his father was a poor goat herder. Not true. He came from a well-to-do family by Kenyan standards. Maybe the title "Dreams...." should tell us something. His life and his biography are mostly that. While Obama searches for himself, we are left to wonder who he REALLY is. He is a nebulous character who changes, chameleon-like, to suit the situation and the current needs to pander to whomever for whatever reason. We can't grasp him or quite figure him out. We know he is clever, a good orator when reading from a teleprompter, charismatic and pretty nice looking. We also know, that if we only view the surface of Barack Obama, he is pretty okay and we can project onto him what we like. (One thing I've noticed consistently about him is that he doesn't seem to connect totally with a crowd when he is shaking hands, etc.. They do to him but not vice versa. He seems a little aloof and just not genuine.) He is not that comforable with himself because he is such a mixed bag of ideas, values and genuine centeredness. No wonder we aren't sure who he is because I believe he isn't sure either. He is comfortable lying and obfuscating, some say pathalogical. I didn't hear the reverend in the pews. Three days later, well he heard some of it. Then if he knew then what he knew now and the reverend hand't retired, he would have left the church. (Why didn't he leave the church when the reverend WASN'T retired? Why does he subject his small children to this vitriol?) Barack, have the church's doctrines and Afrocentrism changed? Do they still subscribe to Black Separation Theology? Do you renounce and do they still support the Hamas Manifesto published in the church magazine? What about all the other black ideologies to the exclusion of white ideologies that the church stands for? Do you agree with these things? If not, why haven't you left the church for THESE reasons? There are so many questions and so many things we don't know about you and that's fine, EXCEPT that you are running for the highest office in the land. Do you hold dual citizenship in the US and Kenya? Why don't you renounce your Kenyan citizenship if you do? Could we please see a copy of your US birth certificate since your background is a little "murky"? Since you said the same thing about yourself as Geraldine Ferraro did (ie, I wouldn't be where I am if I weren't a black man around 2 yrs. ago), why did you allow her to be pilloried for what she said? Or is it that only YOU and other black people can make this observation? Isn't that rather discrimanatory and perhaps even racist? It certainly is not unifying and is quite divisive to allow that to become a big deal when it wasn’t. Why did you not step forward and defend her in this so that you can prove that you are not a divider as it appears you are? ***************** Obama says he is a uniter, not a divider but his actions and words seem to indicate otherwise: *Typical white person *My grandmother uttered things (about race) that would make me cringe *He belittles his white grandparents in his book Dreams from my Father pgs. 15-21 *He lies about his grandfather in Kenya in order to pander to blacks in this country. He doesn’t want them to know he comes from a well-to-do Kenyan family or that his father had multiple wives and children. Obama wants people to think he came from a disadvantaged background in order to make his current status seem extraordinary for a poor black kid to have attained (only he was never a poor black kid.) Chicago’s Andy Martin: “His description of the sermon “Audacity of Hope”–the 1st sermon he heard of Rev. Wright’s is in itself a racist hatefilled sermon basically saying Hope for blacks is Audacious to a black back, because White’s control the Hope & fate and evils of the world, hunger, apartheid and all–”where white folks’ greed runs a world in need….” that’s the World! On which hope sits!” (Page 293–Dreams) His first meeting w/Rev. Wright prior to hearing his sermon, he learned from Wright himself that he was a confessed “former” Muslim, black nationalist, studied the teachings of very controversial literature and incorporated all of “this” into Trinity.” It is said that children who suffer abandonment early in life tend to not be centered and are angry, hurt, confused and have tendencies into adulthood to make up lies and stories to compensate in whatever way helps them cope and get ahed. There are many more examples of his derision of whites (and he is 50% white). As Andy Martin, a great authority on Obama, further says: “Someone who lies habitually about objective facts, someone who fabricates a family history, someone who trashes his ancestors and diminishes them with false claims, is not someone that most of us would trust to be in the Oval office.” But, since he is not sure who he is and is constantly reinventing and contradicting himself, how can we know. How can we know with enough certainty to entrust him with the highest office in this land? Simple, we can’t.
