Ok, gotta vent a little here. No media organization is actually being responsible and reviewing the stories that have been covered to show how they are just as negative against Obama as they are against Clinton. Additionally, they are more focused on themselves, and making themselves the story rather than focusing on the campaigns.
Here's a quick review for all you people, it doesn't even include everything, but enough to show that the media is being more than fair. Remember, the fact that they even address certain issues over and over again, and leave them open to debate helps to imprint images in peoples minds. And, if you repeat something enough, even if it's not true, it will become fact:
Negative Obama Stories:
1) Comment about Reagan.
2) NAFTA.
3) His relationship with his church and minister.
4) Being associated with a 60's radical terrorist group.
5) The remarks & photo spread about being Muslim.
6), Being a terrorist that grew up in a Madrassa.
7) Not pledging alliegance.
8) Not wearing an American Flag pin
9) Not swearing on the Bible.
10) Being the leader of a cult, and called a Messiah.
11) The endorsement of Farrakhan.
12) Being a former smoker.
13) Being a drug addict.
14) Obama supporters are activists and fanatics.
15) Rezko.
Now, most of these are all false, and have been debunked, but they are still getting attention. Some of them are weak link connections or relationships, and some are issues that Obama had to deal with due to his own mistakes. But it's hard to imagine that people are as short sighted as they are, and harder to believe that the media is so easily swayed.
Below is the entire blog I am currently involved in at hillaryclinton.com, while it's been easy to deflect a lot of what they're saying, there are a few items that are hard to argue, but alas, here it all is for you to enjoy:
My name is Jeff, I'm an average 32 year old, white male, living in New York City. I could give you a long list of my concerns for this country and the world as a whole in our global environment. I could list the problems we face, and the struggles we are fighting for, but I won't. I've never followed politics. I've never been involved in the process, and forgive me for saying, it's mostly due to my perception of having a lack of trust with the leaders who are chosen to represent me. I know not all of them are bad eggs, and I find it somewhat funny and a little hypocritical of me to ask anyone to support a politician, and to ask for your support of Barack Obama. But I am asking. You have a choice to vote your conscious. I hope that you do. I hope that you take the time to put your ear to your heart and listen intently. Can you hear it? I hear it, because I've done this myself. I want to believe in something. I want to be motivated not only to help myself, but also those around me. I want to see a leader take the podium and enlist the American public into action. Politics may always remain politics, but wouldn't it be an exceptional moment when we elect a leader that transcends politics? In more than 7 years I have avoided every speech and mandate issued by our current President. Some of it is due to the fact that I disagree with all of his policy choices, and am enraged at his lack of compassion and judgment. But a lot of it is how he fails to engage people, to peak their interest. But there's more to it than this. A lot more. The choice between Senator's Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama is not about policy, it is not about judgment, it is not about empty rhetoric versus action. It is about me. The average 32 year old white male that never voted before, that never took an interest before. It's about all of us who focus on our jobs and our families and disregard the rest. We have been awakened by something extraordinary. We have seen and heard something so magnetic that it has pulled us all together. We have heard the word "Hope", and we finally believe it. In eight years from now, or eighty years, are we going to see this type of supernova again? It's the first time in my lifetime that I have. Maybe you saw it in Dr. Martin Luther King, or JFK, or maybe your school gym teacher inspired you. But this is my first time. It's the first time for anyone in my generation. Hillary can't do it, she's not equipped. If Barack Obama wasn't in this race, then I would probably not be paying any attention to it. I don't think that news organizations would focus so much attention on it either. I don't think that the online communities I've been a part of, on any number of web sites, would care either. If you're an elder, then you may understand my feelings. You may understand why I'm inspired. Please, let us have our moment. I want this for me, I want it for the children that I might have in the future. I want this for my sister, and my nieces and my nephew. I want this for my entire family, my generation, my world. Sometimes it's hard for a parent to toss us the keys to the car when we become of age. There's an instinctual resistance, and a worry that we might crash. But you have to let go. You have to let us live our lives and make the mistakes on our own. We need to grow up for ourselves and choose what's best for us in our own lifetime. Isn't it funny how we always wind up making you proud? "That's my son, that's my daughter, look how they have grown!" Barack Obama is that light at the end of the tunnel. Don't you see it? He is inspiration, he is hope, he the person with great persuasion that will spark a new revolution. A revolution of change. As my professor once said, "the only thing in this universe that stays the same is change". But change means different things to different people. I don't want to change policy, I want to change the way policy is presented. I don't want to change the ruling party that is in charge of the free world, I want to change how the free world relates to each other. Even now as I write this letter I feel it in my bones. The hairs on my arms are standing upright as I replay Barack Obama's message over and over in my head, "Yes WE Can". There is no such thing as false hope. I hope that this letter finds you well. I hope that you read it. I hope that I can convince you to see the world through my eyes. I hope that you will support Barack Obama. Here: The CONTENT OF HIS CHARACTERObama fails to measure up on the experience issue. But most astoundingly for this audacious candidate he fails in abundance on the character issue by which we all must judge him.Not just Rezko, not just the Black Muslim friends and supporters, not just the shuck and jive about Jews and Israel, not just the the duplicity about NAFTA and the Canadians, not just his intrinsic willingness to act in a series of subterfuge acts from the beginning of his rise as a candidate to the entire presentation he has made as a candidate. The double talk, the use of skin color, the plagiarisms, the copying from others, duplicating of voice styles of famous esteemed persons, a black man one day, a transcendental image with a blend of races the next, words that evoke without meaning, style that glistens without substance, a nice guy in one moment, a rude man in another...all pointers to character and all shredding his so-called "authenticity"We have seen it, and we have heard it, and we know it well already. He fails to meet the standard of a good public servant, and most assuredly of a President. He could have come to us all clean, unbundled from this devious plan. He could have been on the way to a greatness.Instead, he is in the throes of popularity, a mania he cultivates. The man is an American Idol, due for disappearance from the American scene shortly, like all the rest of the mini-talents who have 1 song to sing before their 'fame' runs out.No true content of his character. Empty. His words, his deeds, his intentions and the movement he heads. But dangerous---very dangerous in these difficult times. We can not afford to choose the lesser. We can not afford to choose him for the color of his skin. We must choose our president for the content of her character.
This is what Obama said about Pakistan in August:Obama said if elected in November 2008 he would be willing to attack inside Pakistan with or without approval from the Pakistani government, a move that would likely cause anxiety in the already troubled region."If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will," Obama said. That is the most RETARDED thing he could've said, considering Pakistani-Indian relations. He would create freaking WW3 with that, considering the tensions between the Pakistanis and the Indians. And that's the reason why Clinton has so many flag officers endorsing her...she doesn't say stupid stuff like that.----And oh man, you are really, truly an ignorant white man."... not just the Black Muslim friends and supporters, not just the shuck and jive about Jews and Israel,..."I have no issues with black people or Muslims. I find it interesting that you group radicals and average citizens together.Bernie wasn't "grouping radicals and average citizens together" with "Black Muslim". Do you even know what a Black Muslim/nation of Islam Muslim is? Do you know the difference between a Black Muslim and a Saudi Arabian Muslim? If you do not, then you really have no clue WTF it is you're voting for.You need to read much more than HuffPo and DKos and whatever little whitebread "progressive" newspaper/blog you read. You need to read something written by people who aren't disillusioned by Obama as the majority of the media is:http://www.blackagendareport.com/index.phpParticularly this article:Obamas White Male Voters: Do They Hear Something Blacks Dont? by BAR executive editor Glen FordThe corporate media and most Blacks with access to a mass public never seem to seriously examine the meaning of the most dramatic, history-shaking statistic in Barack Obama's march to the White House: he's picking up strong majorities of white men. That's unheard of in the annals of electoral activity in the United States. White men have always been the most reactionary, racially-bonded voting group, the deepest well of anti-Black hostility in the country. So, what makes them flock to Obama's banner? The answer is simple: Obama has based his entire strategy on sending messages to white males, assuring them he will take race and sex privilege off the table of American discourse. They got the message, and vote accordingly. The other side of this color blind coin is Black Americans, who don't seem to hear the conversation that's going on all around them."His strategy from the very beginning has been to flip the historical script by appealing directly to the most backward demographic in electoral politics."Here's the link to the rest of the article. It'd do you good to read it.http://www.blackagendareport.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=537&Itemid=1
I created a blog at Hillary Clintons web site, please check it out. My user profile is Devils Advocate. Here is a posting that I'm currently involved with:
Words are Cheap?
Feb 17, 2008
Hillary, "words are cheap"?As someone who values the importance of the written language, the importance to speak well, and the ability to communicate effectively, I find that statement offensive. As a Democrat, I once held the belief that I had an obligation to support the candidate chosen by the people in my same party in the upcoming election. Even as a Barack Obama supporter, I originally thought that there were two excellent choices in our party. Not anymore. If my words are cheap, then watch my actions.YOU NO LONGER HAVE MY SUPPORT.I will not vote for you in the election. You have made it very clear that my voice doesn't matter. Well, that street goes two ways Mrs. Clinton, neither does yours.I encourage any supporters of Hillary Clinton to demand that phrases like that no longer are a part of her campaign. You might want to attack me, or attack Barack Obama. That's your choice. Those are your words, and your words do matter. They aren't cheap. They express your feelings and your opinions. They call to movement your actions. They call to the American public that you, as well, want your candidate to be supported. Are your words cheap? As a citizen in this country, where the First Amendment Right was Free Speech, don't tell me that words are cheap. Our families long ago fought and died for that right of free speech. And you say words are cheap?Words should be cherished. Words unite our thoughts and our actions. Words are so important that they weren't listed last in the Bill of Rights. They were listed first.Words are the most expensive of all commodities, for without them, we cannot share our thoughts in an environment free of oppression.Statements like the one she made should drive you crazy and make you furious. If you believe that actions speak louder than words, then just take a look at what's happening around the country. People are active, they are taking action. There is no empty rhetoric when the people who follow Barack Obama are in fact participating. There are millions of us. We are donating, calling, cheering, and working just as hard as any Hillary Clinton supporter. We are working not only to change the policies of today, we are changing the politics of tomorrow. And with my words, and with Barack Obama's words, we strive to achieve those goals that we set forth. As a Hillary Clinton supporter, you too should take heart in Barack Obama's words. For they are not cheap. They are inspiring, and all great things occur when the people of this country are inspired.

speaking of blowing--how's Larry Sinclair Obamabots? by Bernie Gagliano Feb 17, 2008 9:50 PM
Obama's words are CHEAP, they are WORTH NOTHING, because he says nothing about the issues! Stop bringing in the people who died for our nation and other GOP nonsense, the people who died for our nation would be ashamed we are electing a man on how much we like him and he inspires us, not on how he can improve the nation. by Jake501 Feb 17, 2008 9:54 PM
Bernie - If you are the role model of Hillary Clinton's support group, then I gladly can say that I want no part of you, or your choice of President. You exhibit the same weak character that people like me are fighting against.Jake - Maybe you define what you think he's not saying by how you're not listening. Maybe you're deaf? In every speech he's given he's talked about policy issues. I even bet that you have them memorized. What does he say about Health Care? What does he say about Education? What does he say about the War in Iraq? What does he say about Foreign Relations? What does he say about the Economy? If not, if you've been living under a rock, then go to www.barackobama.com and read his policy issues. They are there WRITTEN in black and white, with WORDS.If you want to discuss differences in policy, that's fine. I'll defend those as well. But you know that most of the policies are identical to Hillary's. So, again, you've failed your cause. The people who have died for this nation are exactly the reason why you're even here. They are your life Jake. The GOP didn't make that up. It's not some fantasy that we all pretend is real. It is a fact. People died so you could write and say whatever you want. It is precisely why they wrote the Bill of Rights in the first place. They knew that words were the most important, so why don't you? Maybe you're too accustomed to your freedom Jake. Maybe you need to experience oppression to realize the fallacy you are trying to argue. If inspiration does not motivate you to action, then what does? Inspiration is exactly what this country needs, especially right now.Jake, you know the speeches of American history, I know you do. Ask your parents, or your children, your history teachers, and your neighbors. Why do they all know those WORDS Jake? Why do they feel a connection to them?Words do matter. They matter most. And words do improve the nation.Do you believe that this election process right now is making our lives better?Do you believe that people around the globe are looking at us with great hope? That's inspiration Jake. It's from the words our candidates say that get broadcast into our homes.Words Jake, they are worth everything.

You need inspiration maybe. Not most of the nation. We are looking for competence. We don't need something beyond a proven track record, what both McCain and Hillary have.Sorry, devil. Weak minds, incapable of critical analysis need a messiah to lead them somewhere. When the general campaign decides the President, the American people will not choose your Purple Rainmanker. The rest of us saw this act in JFK and Carter. We know what a mess a weak, unprepared Inspiration can do to the nation and in the world.
by Bernie Gagliano Feb 17, 2008 11:02 PM
Yes, I do need inspiration, because I am the disaffected. I need hope because I have dark days of my own. I respect great speakers because it shows an intelligence and ability everyone should strive for.I consider empathy a core of my own belief structure. I consider someones good judgment when a problem is presented or an issue discussed. If most of the nation doesn't need inspiration, then why are millions excited by it? Why is it something that every public figure in the history of the world striving to convey? If inspiration is not required, then why does Hillary raise her voice during a stump speech? She knows the value of it, and tries as hard as she can to inspire you.You write about competence, a proven track record, and experience. I can dissect these just like you try to dissect my argument that WORDS matter. What if they all matter? Would you agree to that? Could action, experience, and WORDS all be important?I believe so. I don't falsely assume that experience is not important, like your candidate so clearly expresses her viewpoint that words are meaningless. But, eight years as a First Lady is not a proven track record. It does not mean that because you lived in the house, that you ran the house.A failed health care plan with eight years to achieve it, is not something that goes on your proven track record list. It is no achievement. Where's your critical analysis now? Length in Washington does not make experience, and it is no substitute for good judgment. Compare the two candidates in years represented in public service as representatives of a state. Barack Obama clearly holds an advantage in years. He also hold an advantage in using good judgment. You might think that I'll use her vote for the Iraq war, or the fact that she held closed meetings with the health care lobbyists as my main arguments, but I won't, I'll even give you a better one to ponder over.Hillary, while working at Walmart fought to break up labor unions. I find it quite amusing that her main supporters, (the low income, blue collar workers), don't take this into consideration. That they are in fact voting for the one person who tried to destroy them. It amazes me that blind eyes are taken to this fact. You want to have an argument about resumes? Well, let's combine hers. Fair and honest. Out in the open for all the world to see. Who's really your unprepared leader now? While my candidate was the first African American President of the Harvard Law Review, yours was neck deep into WhiteWater. Now, that alone is impressive, wouldn't you say? Do you think Jimmy Carter, or JFK would be impressed as well? Do you think Jimmy Carter would states that Barack is incapable of leading because he has any lack in experience? Can you truly believe your own misplaced and misjudged statements now?Community ActivistIllinois State SenatorUS Senatorvs.Walmart Corporate LawyerFirst LadyUS SenatorWhere's your unexperienced and unprepared candidate now? I think it's your candidate, not mine.
Dear Mr. Edwards, I'm sure you've been overloaded with requests to endorse one of the two remaining candidates. I understand that it may be becoming a nuisance and a distraction to your own work. But I also think that there's a good reason for you to receive so much attention. Even the people that did not support you respect you. You are a leader, you are capable of being President of the United States, you just got into the race in a very unique year where there were so many great choices. You might be wondering who I am, and who I want you to choose. You may have made up your mind already, and nothing I say would sway you in either direction. For starters, I'm one of the many disaffected youths in America. Well, not really a youth anymore. I'm 32 years old and live in New York City. I'm an average white male that grew up in suburbia. I've had no real personal conflict or inspiring story I could share with you. I've been considered somewhat intelligent, but at the same time, not personally motivated. I've never exceeded in my potential, or succeeded in the ways in which I thought I might when I was younger. But it's funny how things change. I find myself writing to a political figure, one that I didn't even choose to support in the election. Why am I doing this? This is so extremely out of character for me that I don't even recognize myself anymore. Something has awoken in me recently. Hopefully this feeling of enlightenment lasts far beyond this primary election and creeps into other aspects of my life. I'm getting a sense that I'm becoming more motivated. I'm feeling optimistic about myself. It's not that I think great things will be done for me, but that I can make great things happen for myself. I'm always impressed with people who can "lift themselves up by their bootstraps". I was always envious as well, thinking that I never had that same kind of drive in my own being. Not anymore. Not now, and hopefully not ever again.

It reads: "There is no such thing as false hope"
I'm a NY'er. I'm a Giants fan, and even if you're not, I'd like you to share my happiness right now. I'm euphoric and in disbelief.
Against the dynasty, against the establishment, and against certain inevitibility, the underdog won. Hope won.
What wasn't possible happened. When no others believed, it became true. False hope? There's no such thing.
They were accused of living in a fantasy world. They were told they couldn't win. They were underestimated.
With the greatest respect to the Patriots, and identifying them as one of the best teams in football history, rooting for them was not rooting against the Giants. They were brilliant and composed throughout the year. They would have been great champions. But hope won.
With 3 superbowl rings, they were the past, and they wanted to reclaim a 4th for the present. But maybe it was time to look toward the future.
Maybe they'll win next season, maybe the Patriots dynasty becomes just a memory. I can't predict the future, but I know what I want the future to hold.
The nation can't rally around the Giants as the nation can rally around Barack Obama. I understand that. I'm not asking for everyone to believe or want a NY Giant dynasty to emerge.
I'm asking you to hope.
I'm asking you to look at what happened.
I'm asking you to make it happen again.
Vote for Obama because hope can win against inevitibility.
I want to post a "Vote for Obama" blog on my friendster & myspace pages and want to use exerpts from his speeches and any kind of rich media that I can get my hands on. I don't want it to be cluttered, confusing or overbearing, so is there something pre-made that I can copy & paste? Is there a recommended package for doing this?
I want to do it tonight so there's enough time before super tuesday for everyone I know to read it.
Thanks!
Ok, so I'm watching TV right now, CNN to be specific. I didn't record it, so I have to paraphrase what I just saw. I can't quote it directly, but this is the gist of the speech:
Hillary Clinton just told a story about how she was invited by Nelson Mandela to attend a VIP function in Africa. She stated that the State Department sternly warned her to avoid speaking to or taking a picture with Fidel Castro. She went on to state the lengths she took to avoid his several attempted advances to speak with her. She also stated that she must have seemed rude to the Foreign politicians and guests she was speaking with while he was trying to approach her, and her response was to run away from the conversation to avoid a Castro confrontation.
Then she went on to say that Nelson Mandela wanted to personally thank, and brought on to the stage 3 of the prison guards that gave him strength while he was incarcerated. He spoke of healing the relationships and overcoming the biases and problems within South Africa. By reaching out to these prison guards he was showing the power to heal relationships.
Now, as you can imagine, it sounds like a normal story, nothing really special in there...
Except when you take a close look at the message, you'll find several faults that she failed to recognize.
1) She relied on the State Department to tell her what she could and could not do. She had no ability to say, "I am capable to make my own decisions". She was essentially a puppet.
2) She embarrassed herself and our country by being rude to her hosts that she was speaking to. Not a great way to build foreign relations. How would you like it if you were in the middle of a conversation and the person you were speaking to just bolted out of the room with no explanation.
3) The whole point of Mandela's speech was the healing power of relations. To join together to put differences behind us. Don't you think that a great application of that message would be to confront Castro and try to persuade him to change his own politics and dictatorship? By meeting with him, they could have reduced the tension between our countries, or maybe not, but wouldn't it be worth a try?
Her behavior during this event was like a child. Running away from your problems isn't the way to solve them. I'll be shocked if the news media can't pick up on this.
Isn't one of Obama's main arguments that speaking with your enemies, not only your friends, builds a better World relationship? Isn't that ALSO the point that Nelson Mandela specifically made?
Way to go Hillary, you just proved that you run away while Obama and Nelson Mandela work together!
If you don't know the artist, you may recognize his work. He is a master at capturing high profile subjects and plastering their images throughout major cities. It's a phenominon, just like Barack Obama, and what's best is that he not only is a supporter, but he also created an Obama poster.
Proceeds of the poster will go to a statewide Obama poster campaign so not only will you help contribute, but you'll receive a great piece of art.

Below is a letter I wrote to the Hillary Clinton Campaign, I figured she would never read it, so I posted it here in case anyone else wanted to.
Change. It is doubtful that this email will fall into the hands of any senior level campaign manager, however I have an urge to vent, and without access to confront Hillary or Bill Clinton directly, I'll have to settle for an email that will most likely be discarded.First, I am a Democrat in ideals, but I never voted. I never thought any candidate throughout my lifetime lived up to my expectations as a leader. I didn't vote yes, I didn't vote no, I voted "present" for lack of a better word. I am a citizen that chose not to choose. I put in my vote of no confidence, and I proudly wear that flag. However, I became a fan of Bill Clinton during his presidency. I also thought at the beginning of the presidential election process that I would be supporting Hillary this November. I decided that I would finally use my vote this year.Change.However, after watching Barack Obama it is clear that he is the more mature between the two of you. Not only that, but he is inspirational, his speeches give me goosebumps, his demeanor is relaxed and considerate, he is charismatic and his message motivates me personally. I see a better and brighter future with him at the helm. He is finally the person I want to call leader. Then I looked at what you represent to me. You represent the dirty tactics of politics that I least admire. You represent the frustration I have when I hear politicians whine, and throw insults, then spin and manipulate the truth. You represent the people who like to destroy rather than create. You made a decision to pick apart a person layer by layer in the most unsavory of tactics. When are you going to stop? Will it be when there is nothing left? Is that the kind of leader I want? Is that the way a role model behaves? You like to use the words "reality check". Well, here's a reality check for you Hillary, you're outclassed. You like to use the words "empty rhetoric". Well, the only thing I see that is empty is your soul. You represent the reason I don't want anyone speaking on my behalf. You represent my vote of "present", neither yes or no.You don't inspire confidence, hope, or a better future, and furthermore, you don't inspire me to vote for your candidacy. You have acted like a three year old. Your tactics are reprehensible. How can you possibly even use the word "change" anywhere in your campaign message? The only thing that changed is my vote. You have lost a supporter. And, if you do win the democratic nomination, I will revert back to pulling the lever of "present". Good luck beating the republicans if others feel the same way that I do.Hopefully you can CHANGE.
Mission Statement:
Create a partnership with an Investment Bank to provide an alternative Reverse Mortgage Product to non-senior residential homeowners.
Key Results:
· Stabilize the Housing Market.
· Reduce Foreclosure Rates.
· Stimulate the Economy.
· Generate a New Revenue Stream for Investors.
With a Reverse Mortgage, the borrower will have no monthly payment obligation. This will result in a complete cessation of non-payment default loans, and stave off all potential foreclosures for those borrowers that qualify. The reduction of which will result in stable home values, and appreciation of neighborhood areas.
The ability to cash out equity in a lump sum, receive monthly payments, or line of credit in combination with the absence of any housing payment obligation will allow borrowers to use a greatly increased amount of disposable income for the purchase of goods and services. With such a vast difference in budgetary restraints, it will allow for an unprecedented economic growth in the United States.
Investors will have the opportunity to lend money to borrowers without risk of non-payment. Processing and Servicing Fees will allow for profits in a non-predatory lending practice. In a virtually untapped market, the investors that initiate the program will have unlimited and unrestricted access to millions of homeowners.
Program Highlights:
The alternative Reverse Mortgage Product will contain the following modifications to the pre-existing HUD specifications (http://www.reversemortgage.org/):
· No Age Limit Requirement. (Currently 62 years of age).
· Loan Term Limits will be mandated. (Currently no term limits exist).
· Investor will hold Title. (Currently the owner holds title).
· Home must be sold, refinanced, or the loan must be paid in full by term limit expiration. (Currently no requirements).
Specifications of age limit requirements, term limits, and details regarding ownership of title in the event of a refinance or sold home will be negotiated and detailed between investors and analysts to forecast the best application of terms.
In the event a home is not sold or refinanced, or the loan is not paid in full within the term limit specifications, investors may implement penalties, liens, judgments, or foreclosure proceedings. This would be in accordance to state and federal laws to determine the proper course of action for maximum adherence to program requirements.
Underwriting Guidelines would be drafted to specify a complete and transparent information source for lending practices and program requirements. Included would be LTV, Income, Credit, Appraisal, and other core topics pertaining to risk and collateral analysis.
Recommendations:
Term Limits should be brief. For example, a 3, 5, or 7-year term prevents the absence of an age restriction to negatively affect investor participation. It also will prevent any stagnation to market conditions and will push new home sales and refinancing.
Within the Term Limits a borrower will have full rights to sell or refinance the home, or pay off the Reverse Mortgage Loan without investor approval.
A borrower can streamline refinance into a new Reverse Mortgage with additional and sufficient build up in home equity.

Demographics:
The Primary focus of the Reverse Mortgage Program will be on homeowners in the continental United States with sub-prime adjustable rate mortgages at risk of foreclosure.
The Alternate focus of the Reverse Mortgage Program will include soliciting homeowners in the continental United States in good credit and equity standing to acquire new loans.
Practices:
Lending practices and requirements should be responsible yet flexible to allow high credit risk borrowers the opportunity to obtain the Reverse Mortgage loans.
Lending practices must be insured against future issues that may result. Examples of which are, but not limited to a high home sale market after term limits expire, low home purchase market, low home appreciation, new or progressive damage to residences.
Lead Times:
The normal mortgage loan process can take anywhere from two weeks to two months depending upon the various factors involved. Third Party services such as Title, Insurance, and Appraisals are required to be completed prior to close. Borrower motivation and document gathering abilities also attribute to the length of time a mortgage is processed and closed.
The creation of the program can be easily done within 1 - 2 months, and will effectively show results within a month of it's introduction. This creates the start of an economically secure landscape within 4 months from the theoretical conception to the 1st mortgage closed.
Competitive Analysis:
Without any mortgage product that rivals the proposed Reverse Mortgage Program, and with the current absence of Sub-Prime lenders, the competition will primarily be Conforming and Alt-A loan products. The strength of the proposed program is that it allows for a new alternative in mortgage lending.
The reputation of the mortgage industry has suffered which allows a new product by a new company to be unveiled that will disassociate itself with the current climate.
It’s necessary weakness in comparison to other loan products is signing Title over to the investor. Due to the current market trends, this issue is less formidable than the prospect of foreclosure. The choice to retain residence over loss of home is a compelling argument.
Regulatory Restrictions:
State and Federal Banking Laws will be addressed and adhered to with the forming of the Compliance Division.
