I'm truly convinced that our biggest threats are McCain and Palin. The more I listen to them, the more I'm convinced that they don't have a clue how to lead.
My lord, it's scary to think of Palin answering that phone at 3 a.m. What is she going to do? Get sarcastic and say, "I'll get back to ya'"??? McCain would get hot tempered and lead us into another war. The man is so against talking with your enemy.
They truly expect the middle-class to relate to them and have confidence that they understand our needs. My gosh, I watch them on stage and it makes me wonder. Palin with her Neiman Marcus wardrobe and let's not overlook the "lipstick" and grand coiffed hair, and her sometimes "squeaky" sarcastic rally speeches, that include no substance or concrete plans to resolve our current crisis. "YOU BETCHA....Joe six pack" is not going to cut it.
Cindy McCain.....Oh yeh, I fully relate with her.....The woman probably never set foot in a "bargain" store, she prances around wearing her expensive designer shoes, suits, and dresses that have the price tag equivalent to the price of my Mazda Tribute, and speaking of $$$$$$ .... can I relate to millions in my savings account? I DON'T THINK SO! I'm not saying that she doesn't deserve these things, but PLEASE DON'T EXPECT ME TO "RELATE".
John McCain....Exactly what are your plans? You switch and change them so much, I'm confused. Please get someone on stage with you that actually delivers an "intelligient" speech. Exactly why does your wife stand by your side? Obviously, she doesn't do a good job of "spicing" up your campaign, or you wouldn't have taken desperate measures and picked Palin to "shake things up for ya".
I STAND BY OBAMA for the mere fact that the man has a working BRAIN and a PLAN ! (Not to mention that his wife looks classy in a $120 dress and is capable of holding an "intelligient" conversation).
I was Barackin' and Rockin' to this song! It is guaranteed to put you in a good mood and bring some HOPE back into your day.
HOORAY FOR COCO TEA !!!

I haven't watched "Fox (Faux) News" since the beginning of the primaries. (Because they are so one sided). However, around 9:08 a.m., while flipping through stations, Chris Wallace was interviewing both Rick Davis, (McCain's Campaign Manager), and David Axelrod, (Obama's Campaign Manager).
It was clear that Rick Davis conducted himself like a tempermental, overly defensive jack-ass, with his non-stop babbling, and constant interruptions, while David Axelrod was asked to answer a question or comment. Like Manager, like candidates.....tempermental, defensive and immature.
On the other hand, David Axelrod conducted himself in a calm demeanor, answered the questions, and relied on facts, rather than meaningless babble. It was very evident from this interview, that Mr. Axelrod had class. Like Manager, like candidates.
A Big Hi-Five To David Axelrod!
GO OBAMA/BIDEN !
When you cringe at the antics and rehetoric that comes out of Sarah Palin, and when you envision her saying, "You Betcha", "Maverick", "Joe Six Pack", and when you watch her avoid questions because she has no clue as to how to answer them intelligiently, and when you hear her associate Obama with terrorism and then sends you a sly wink across your TV set....
JUST REMEMBER THE "idiot" WHO SELECTED HER AS HIS VP !
(Yeah, he has the best interest of America at heart) !
It's a shame that John McCain would stoop soooooo low as to have his wife join Sarah Palin in attacking Obama. John McCain would USE anybody to do his dirtywork. Even his own wife.
Cindy McCain should be ashamed of herself. First of all, her son wouldn't have to be in "harms" way, if Bush didn't decided to invade Iraq, and she forgets that her husband supported Bush's decision.
It was "chilling" ?????? "Barack should stand in her shoes" ????? What?????
Barack is too decent of a human being to stand in her designer shoes. Cindy McCain and Sarah Palin are now "tag-team" partners....WHAT A JOKE.....this is WHY they WILL LOSE !
It's a shame that the very first thing I heard on TV this morning was Palin making unfair attacks on Obama. I started off by having respect for McCain during this campaign, but I now realize that McCain is a "whimp" who has to hide behind Sarah Palin, and he "uses" her to do his DIRTY WORK.
Sarah Palin knows that McCain is in desperate need of votes, so she is trying to portray Obama as a terrorist. First of all, if there was any minute evidence that Obama was a terrorist or supports domestic terrorism, the FBI and media would have been all over it, way back in the primaries.
Perhaps the EVIL hides within Palin.....She must have EVIL inside of her somewhere, since she CHOSE TO BE THE SUBJECT OF EXORCISM, in her "questionable" church.
McCain and Palin do not have the interest of American people at heart, they have their own selfish interests. PERIOD ! McCain wants to be President for his own self glory. SELFISH, SELFISH, GREEDY, GREEDY... like most Republicans.
A friend of mine sent me a greeting card and I thought the enscription was fitting for all Obama supporters. (Even for those who aren't).
HOPE
"OF ALL THE FORCES THAT MAKE FOR A BETTER WORLD,
NONE IS SO POWERFUL AS H O P E .
WITH HOPE, ONE CAN THINK, ONE CAN WORK,
ONE CAN DREAM. IF YOU HAVE HOPE, YOU HAVE EVERYTHING"
My husband and I went to Philly this afternoon to an outdoor gathering for Obama. Bruce Sprinsteen is still "THE BOSS". He was great and he spoke to the audience from his heart. He too has HOPE for a better America, jobs for the jobless, homes for the homeless, food for the hungry, healthcare for the sick, and education for the children. He is a true American!
What impressed me the most was the commardery among the attendants and people sharing their reasons for supporting Senator Obama, and everyone had their own personal story. Black, White, Asian, we all had one thing in common that was very evident....WE BELIEVE IN SENATOR OBAMA!
The UNITY and the strong sense of HOPE that surrounded me was refreshing. I felt proud to be an American, and I was proud to support Senator Obama!
I watched the debates tonight and I listened carefully to each candidates responses and rebuttles.
I wasn't impressed with either candidate. It was the same ole', same ole', nothing they haven't said before.
Although, I would give my overall vote to Obama, I thought he could have done a little better in this debate, considering he has had enough debates in the past to improve. He needs a little Joe Biden in him when he debates.
All said, I still support Obama!
So many Republicans are basing their vote on one single issue, "abortion". Therefore, they will put all the other important issues aside, and issues that are just as important like ending the war, dealing with our healthcare crisis, the failing economy, and plunging unemployment rates, etc., won't be significant to them.
First of all, I watched John McCain and his wife Cindy, on an interview with Barbara Walters on the daytime talk show, "The View". John McCain stated that he is for separation of church and state, he is pro-life, and doesn't believe in abortion even in the case of rape and incest, but he also stated that he respects people's choices. Huh? Then his wife Cindy McCain admitted that she is not in agreement with his objection to abortion in the case of rape or incest. In the news today, it seems as though Sen. McCain has changed his mind....AGAIN!
In my opinion John McCain is a pro-lifer for his own political agenda.
My next point is a bit trivial, but I have been observing for quite a while now, that John McCain has never held his wife's hand as they are walking in or out of a town hall meeting, he never holds her hand as they are going down steps, or walking off an airplane, etc. They just seem "cold" toward each other. On the other hand, Barack and Michelle Obama are always holding hands, he helps her up steps, they give each other hugs, or fists bumps as a form of encouragement, etc. This is important to me because if McCain treats his wife like this, how is he going to establish a good relationship with forgein leaders, and negogiate, etc. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing to be stern or to show strength, but sometimes great things can be achieved with a simple hand shake or smile.
I think that John McCain is too militaristic. It's all he's known for most of his life, and during this election process, John McCain talked about war more than any other issues. He even commenced his RNC talking about war. During his interviews (even in the Faith based Forum), he answered almost every question with his experiences in fighting a war. It's always fight, fight, fight, and win, win, win....."we will not be defeated". HE DOES SCARE ME!
Pennsylvania's own Govenor Ed Rendell has called the Obama-Biden campaign the "biggest, most impressive campaign I've ever seen in this state".
The efforts of so many volunteers has paid off, there are 300,000 new Democrats in PA. We lead in Democratic registration in Republican counties like Montgomery County.
I currently volunteer, 8 hrs. per day/5 days per week at a local Obama Campaign office. It has been a great experience, and I have met so many people from all backgrounds, race, color and creed. I take the time to listen to them and I can assure you they all want the same. They want change and an end to the stagnant government we've endured during the Bush Administration.
Obama has motivated me and has given me concrete reasons why I should do my part to change the way Washington conducts business. Sen. Obama is in touch with our current crisis, our failing economy, our healthcare crisis, education, and dealing with the devastating consequences of the Iraq War. Recently, McCain announced that the economy is shaping up, the fundamentals of our economy are strong. The man is totally out of touch with majority of Americans.
In every speech, up until the convention, John McCain commenced with talks about WAR. Until Sarah Palin came into the picture, that's all John McCain talked about. Now that Sarah Palin IS in the picture, all she talks about is the bridge to nowhere, and drilling. Over and over and over like a broken record. There is no substance to their speeches. They both flat out lie to the American people about Obama because they don't have a plan.
They criticize Obama for raising taxes. First of all, I thank Sen. Obama for being honest and upfront with the American people. How is McCain going to provide healthcare, a stable economy, education funding, lower fuel prices, etc. while he intends to keep the war in Iraq going for as long as needed? Does he realize this country is in debt...approx. 9.7 trillion dollars in debt.
ARE YOU BUYING HIS BULL?
This is my opinion.....
Sarah Palin's speech was scarcastic, cocky and lacked substance! If she is so SMART and EXPERIENCED, she didn't need to resort to scarcasim. She came across as McCain's little puppet, who was doing his dirty work for him.
What a pair.... more like....
G.I. JOE and BARBIE !
Is this ALL they got???
After paying, $4.00/gal. for gas this weekend, I was approached by my daughter who is preparing to start college in the Fall, and she found out that one of her college text book will cost her, $152.00. WHAT?
Mind you, I have 3 kids. Both of my sons attended college back-to-back, one is finished, but I'll still have my youngest son, and daughter in the same college. The college expenses are sky-rocketing. I don't understand why college has to cost so much. The average graduate faces loan debts amounting to $70,000 +. Some graduates are lucky enough to secure a good paying job, that enables them to pay these college debts. Unfortunately, so many college grads are unable to find a good paying job. I have a close friend who has a son that graduated college last year with a degree in Business. He is working full-time in a clothing store to make ends meet.
Getting back to my #1 GRIPE...COLLEGE BOOKS. Why should a text book cost $152.00 to $180.00? It's insane. My son purchased a book last year for one of his classes, it cost him $148.00, he sold it back to the bookstore, and he received $35.00 for it. Then the bookstore re-sells it on the USED book shelf for $85.00. IT'S A RACKET! Oh, by the way, my son informed me that his professor had them open this book maybe twice.
And don't even get me started on the Student Loan companies that totally RIP you off.
I'm beginning to wonder if college and universities are nothing more than another money making industry.
I'm hoping that Senator Obama will keep his promise to assist these college kids. This is ridiculous.

OBAMA SUPPORTERS SHOULD BE ABOUT HOPE AND CHANGE. REMEMBER ????
Save the ENGERGY people.....Let's focus on McCain and work to KICK his Butt in the General Election.
PLEASE re-direct your anger and energy.
(By the way, let's not finger-point each other either, it's not getting us anywhere)
LET'S REMAIN UNITED AND FOCUSED ON BEATING McCAIN. Obama/Clinton race is over.... LET'S MOVE ON.
It was good to hear Hillary say, "YES WE CAN".
I'm confident that her supporters will unite with Obama supporters and work hard so together we can get the show started.
THANK YOU HILLARY !
For the past few days I have been listening to people tell me that Obama is going to have a hard time convincing Clinton supporters to vote for him and not McCain.
YES, I KNOW....it's not going to be an easy road for Obama, but by now we all should be in agreement, Obama gave Hillary the fight of her life, a former First Lady and Senator, who had many years of notariety, struggled against Obama. With this in mind, Obama is VERY CAPABLE of beating McCain. Hardwork is required, but it can be done.
Just listening to Obama and McCain relate their messages and plans to the American people, gives one a good idea of who is ready to be our next President. McCain sounds so scripted, rehearsed, and uncomfortable delivering a speech. ( Sometimes I wonder if he believes in what he is reading). His undecisiviness on various issues proves to me, that he is not in tune to what this country needs, and his idea of bringing about Peace in the Middle East is a JOKE. McCain is so FAR OUT OF TUNE with America's needs, he is completely FLAT.
OBAMA IS UNDER ESTIMATED BY A LOT OF PEOPLE. HE NEEDS TIME TO REACH OUT TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE CLINTON FANS and CURRENTLY ROOTING FOR McCAIN. I am confident that once the American people listen to Obama and McCain debates, they will clearly see which Presidential Candidate is qualified and capable of turning this country around.
SENATOR OBAMA AND HIS SUPPORTERS WERE RIDICULED BECAUSE WE RAN THIS CAMPAIGN ON HOPE.....HIGH HOPES. IT WAS OUR HOPE AND THIRST FOR CHANGE THAT HAS BROUGHT US TO THIS LEVEL.
We're not being ridiculed for wanting HOPE and CHANGE anymore.....Obama taught us a VALUABLE lesson.
Can somebody please knock some sense into these women ....PLEASE !!!!!
Unfair politics? What was sooooo "unfair" about Obama's campaign strategy and ethics? Obama won this election FAIRLY. Period end of Story.
As a matter of fact, I think he was very patient, understanding, and tolerant throughout this very long campaign. When it came to seating the delegates for the states of MI and FL, he was very cooperative.
WHERE IS THE UNFAIRNESS THAT LED TO OBAMA'S VICTORY?
Hillary Clinton and her supporters definitely got what I call the "SHOCK-N-AWE" treatment. They are hurting and right now they are very "bitter". Although, I'm NOT and never have been a fan of Ms. Hillary, I do feel bad for her supporters. Afterall, if it were Barack Obama who lost the Dem. Pres. nomination, it would take me months to get over it.
I still have HOPE that Hillary's supporters will come around. They supported Hillary Clinton because they liked her ideas to resolve the problems regarding, healthcare, economy, ending the war, education, etc., etc. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton both shared similar views on these issues.
If Hillary's supporters vote for McCain out of SPITE and BITTERNESS, they are not only jeopardizing their chances to create a better America, but they could jeopardize everyone else's chance to create a better America. THAT WOULD BE CRUEL. It would make them Democratic FRAUDS.
