Early voting has started in South Carolina. Charleston County, where I live, got their ballots in Monday. I voted today! Early voting is really easy to do. Just show up at your county voting center with your voter registration and a valid reason (i.e. I have to work all day, I'll be out of town, etc.). I encourage everyone to vote early and get other supporters to do the same. They're open on Saturday as well.
What about organizing some trips to take the college kids to the polls for early voting on Saturdays?
Democrats are outpacing Rebpublicans in registering new voters by a 5-1 ratio in Florida.

1. Forms are available from your county registration office. I'm told you can get them by the box...
2. If someone is already registered, be sure to ask if their registration is current (registered at their current address). They should update if they need to.
3. Seventeen year olds can register if they are going eighteen by election day.
4. You can register people to vote in this election until Oct. 4.
5. First time voters need to bring their voter registration card and aother form of ID.
6. Encourage everyone to vote early. We don't want anyone turned off by high turnout.
7. Those convicted of felonies can register to vote in SC if they are no longer on probation (unless they were convicted of violating election laws).
Please post in the comments section if you think of any thing else.

I honestly believe Barack Obama can win South Carolina in the general election. The Vote for Change voter registration drive is how it will happen. I encourage group members to visit the following links as a primer:
