I have an idea for the women who support Barack Obama. We should order the Pink Obama '08 t-shirts from the campaign store and pick a day to wear them nationally. Not only will it contribute to the campaign but it will show that Barack has the support of women all over America.
The past few days have been very challenging. Everytime I turn on the news I keep hearing about how well Hillary Clinton is doing in the polls among women voters. Political pundits and the media have basically given the race to Hillary. Well, I know we can do more. A whole lot more.
I would like for the women who participate on this website and volunteer for this campaign to put our heads together and come up with some ideas to reach and educate other women about Barack Obama. It would be great if we could come up with some national event to show America that Barack has our support. I have talked to several women this past week in my community. It was surprising that there were quite a few that said they liked Barack but didn't know much about him. Well the good thing was they were curious.
Let's share information that benefits women such as quality child care, health insurance for their children and equal pay for equal work.
I want to do my part. If anyone is interested in brainstorming some ideas, you can add me to your friend's list or visit my profile and send me an e-mail. We can come up with a plan to get Barack on the Democratic ticket and beyond.
