Hello All,
I would like to hear feedback, comments, and criticism of an idea I have to create jobs in America, safeguard our national security, and promote net neutrality all at once.
Although these may seem like bold claims, the idea is pretty simple. In an increasingly technolgy driven world commumincation is vital to our country. Yet there are still many places in America that lack access to high speed internet lines of any kind.
The telecommunications industry has started to improve our infrastucture but they claim the cost of these improvements needs to be offset by changing the fundemental way that the internet works and allow them to get more profit at the expense of open access. This is a bogus argument for many reasons but not the focus of my idea.
Instead of having the telecom companies lay down this infrastructure it should be done by the government.
This will:
1) Create thousands of jobs for ordinary Americans and in turn improve the economy
2) Bring internet access to all parts of our country and allow Americans to benefit from one of the greatest human achievments of our time.
3) Safeguard our national security by ensuring communications remain open even during times of crisis.
I would love to hear comments, concerns or questions.
And please post your own ideas as well. If we can get even one great idea to the attention of the campaign this will be a success.

Hello all and welcome to the discussion.
Many of us are concerned about the role that superdelegates will be playing in the nomination process.
I personally believe that Barack will win the most votes and the most delegates, but this may not be enough.
Any thoughts on what can be done to make sure that our votes count or how we could organize to inform Americans about the role superdelegates play?
