It's the 2nd, 3rd, 4th day heat that really gets felt..
Something interesting is being expounded by the chattering class...
http://dyn.politico.com/playbook/ -it may last into March.
Greetings All:
I have an idea. Please listen up.
It's time that HOPE TALKS!!!
Take the camera's that are videotaping the Line Up and Crowds directly to the Voters and Videotape them Discussing Obama's Policy. We're joyous they stand with US, but the other 70% of the Democratic Party is Waiting to Hear Why We Stand Together.
There is No better place, other than Sen. Obama's own Mouth, to allow that message to resonate from than the mouths of the Voters. I would suggest an effort be undertaken by the excellent and dedicated blogger staff to find informed supporters who know about the Credit Card Bill of Right, who Know about the Tax Relief Policy, who know about the Work/Family Balance Proposals, to start giving 1 minute interviews explaining these policies and how they will make a difference and impact their lives.
Let Teachers explain how his innovative Teacher Scholarships/Pay/Etc will work. Let Environmentalists Explain how the Innovation Reinvestments will both produce jobs and help with Carbon Emissions. You get the idea... It'll be Much More Powerful a tool for us, the ground troops, to diseminate to other blogs, to emails to friends, and to family, who are looking at us in awe wondering just what it is about Obama that has us so excited. It's not him, it's not the energy, not alone that is... It's the Issues which are driving Our Hope. Call the Series "Hope Talks" or some other creative name... and put out one or two a day between now and Feb 5th....
Every part of the campaign needs to stop talking about Inevitability, to stop talking about Fundraising, Or Polls, and start discussing Issues that Inspire the Hope we already feel in our Bones.
Lets turn Hope into Help.
Let's take the Message into the Substance and make this campaign better.
yes we can!
