She just wants to be a celebrity. She may be just smart enough to know she isn't smart enough, tough enough and gosh darn it, she is just way too shiny to be a dull 'ol politiian.
I imagine she won't make much of a celebrity for too much longer either.
"the Bush administration kept us safe for eight years" well except for that one day
C-SPAN is my way of taking the temperature of the country. It, like politics in general, is like a sporting event. When the moderator announces "Glen on the democrates line" I cheer him on "come on Glen, refute that last caller." Or when "Lisa on the independent line" I warn "Lisa please don't be a tin foil hat wearer, please make a rational point"
Over the past several weeks it seems as though the argument has been getting more defined and moving slowly from right wing paranoia to rationality (well, for the most part). The dems and independents are getting better at pushback on misinformation that is coming from the other side. On the "open phones" segment this morning, it seemed to be 2 to 1 pro public option.
Obama never changed his stance on the Public Option, we just paranoidly spun it that way. "The public option is just a sliver of the options" this doesn't mean that the PO is an opposing bill. The PO is an "option" on the "menu" of choices in the PO system.
