Do You Think Democrats Will Win Many Seats Next Year?

Well, I was curious to see what people think about if Democrats will win many seats next year in the 2010 elections. Its quite difficult to say right now, since the numbers are going up and down. I pray for more Democrats in the government! Hopefully, Democrats won't be sharply divided on the issues such as Moderate Democrats fighting with Conservative Democrats. That will lead to major losses that America cannot afford.

Republicans Need To Get It Straight: The Health Care Reform Plan Will Not Add To The Deficit

A new report from the CBO today, showed AGAIN that the health care reform plan WILL REDUCE the deficit. Why can't Republicans click the fact that the deficit won't rise, but will instead decrease? They were complaining how the deficit would rise in the beginning. Republicans, get it straight: THE HEALTH CARE REFORM PLAN WILL NOT ADD TO THE NATIONAL DEFICIT, INSTEAD, IT WILL REDUCE IT.

Note: Republicans raised the deficit, and didn't do a darn thing to bring it down. At least Obama is working on reducing the deficit that they raised by a tremendous amount.

Tomorrow Is Sonia Sotomayor's Confirmation Hearing!

Weeks after his choice for the Supreme Court was revealed, President Obama's pick, Sonia Sotomayor, will have here confirmation hearings tomorrow starting at 10:00 AM ET. I have high hopes for her, and I know that she will be successful in the hearings, and in the Supreme Court. Obviously, Republicans will use the case about the white firefighters as a tool against her, which I hope fails as a tactic. I know you'll do great, Sonia!

A new poll from CNN showed that 75% who were polled favored U.S. relations with Cuba. I agree as well. There are already talks about a travel ban being lifted. There is speculation that she is going to use the donation money to run her 2012 presidential campaign. I think she will be a tough opponent because people will vote for her because she is a woman. Bill Richardson Might Have Resigned Because He Wanted Secretary Of State Post!

I think that Bill Richardson resigned because he wanted Secretary of State post. He knew that he was not good with business and economics, so he decided to step down. That is just my theory. When I found out Richardson was Commerce Secretary, I asked myself what his record was on business. I don't think he had any record. I wonder who the next Commerce Secretary will be!

Why Is It Taking 2 Weeks To Kick Blagojevich Out?

It has been nearly 2 weeks since Rod Blagojevich was charged for political corruption. Why is it taking 2 WEEKS to deal with him? He should have been ousted the same week he was found doing this corruption! Are Illinois politicians slow on solving issues? I have a feeling that when Barack Obama was the politician there (State Senate & Congress), the issues were done quickly.
