Tonight, the GOP's main lackeys are out on stage in front of the nation to try and pass off John McCain as the change that we need. However, in a twist that is literally soaked in irony, failed candidate Mitt Romney declared that we need to get rid of "liberal Washington". So what exactly would one call six of the last eight years in Washington? They were a far cry from anything "liberal", that's for sure.
Just when you thought the GOP could not stoop any lower, later tonight, John McCain's running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who is mired in scandal and who has zero national or international experience, will denigrate and devalue Barack Obama's work as a community organizer by stating:
“Since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves..." and, “...I guess a small town mayor is sort of like a ‘community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities.”
This type of demeaning attack will not stand, and I want us to fight these smears by showing our passion and dedication. So, I am starting a fundrasier effort, starting at an achieveable level of $250. Please sshow your support for our movement of REAL change, and donate today.
Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin and the rest of the GOP may have vitriol and pandering, but what they do NOT have is our passion, our dedication and our desire for a new America. Let' show the GOP what they're up against!

We have overcome a lot worse than this, and are on the verge of making it all happen. As BO himself said, if this was easy, it would have been done already. :)

Despite the bitterly cold and dreary temperatures here in the Midwest, today is still a bright day for all of us hope-mongers. With four straight wins in our pockets and an incredible wind of momentum at our backs, we look forward to Tuesday's contests, and stand ready to do all we can to keep charging forward in the name of hope and the real American dream.
