Uh didn't prescott do business and get some cash from the nazis? Did this not stop till FDR signed the Trading with the Enemy Act? Kinda funny if it wasn't so sad. Why would any good american want 4 more years of gb crapola? I guess the fact that prescott served as the treasurer of the first national capital campaign of planned parenthood and was also an early supporter of the UNCF(chairman of the Connecticut branch), gives comfort to....someone.

Is it just me, or does it seem like BO is bringing a knife to a gunfight? hrc has gone nuclear. I believe in the power of positivity, but at the cost of what exactly? BO will be maligned if he goes hard after hrc, he will be maligned if he doesn't? He hasn't spent time and treasure driving up her known negatives "to numerous to list here", but most of her supporters think of him has some negative, ill-intentioned muslim? Worse still, there are rumors that he may pay her campaign debt that she has accumulated to destroy BO presidential bid and the chance at real change in our country. I know the math, I know the numbers for the primary nomination, and BO is still ahead. But one would have to be as delusional has hrc to think that she is not hurting the party's nominatee this fall.
MAD I guess works if both sides are capable/willing to win and destroy at all cost. hrc seems like a solo participant in this sick dance. I guess that's why I support OBAMA!
I know it's OT, but an early exit poll from Oregon... I just voted for Obama!
BTW, I predict Oregon to go very heavily for Obama, contrary to conventional wisdom regarding the history of race relations in this state.
This morning in the SafeWay seating area I overhead an older white male saying he's going to vote for Obama. It was interesting because he also said that his first reaction was a racist stereotype; but the strength of Obama's message sortof waved the foolishness of such an opinion in his face.
I'm seeing this all over.
People who I would normally call racists, but whose sin is to believe in a stereotype, rather than to harbor any intentional ill will, not only coming out in support of Obama, but experiencing personal growth in the process.
Identity politics takes on a new nature when people secretly wish they themselves were "better" than the way they were raised. This is a chance for them not only to oppose the failed policies of the past 7 years, but also to win redemption by participating a national reconciliation process.
Visited hrc blog today, and they r in a mad, frothy frenzy. I saw alot of post saying they don't trust our guy, etc. We ALL know what that's about. It is truly tragic that hrc would use the pandora box of race in a losing effort to help destroy the Democatic party. I am stunned even though I shouldn't be? I wonder if all her supporter are really republicans sometimes. Oh well enough wasted time on that. I did waste a few more moments replying(see below) to one of the people over there saying they were going to "cross the aisle" if...err rather when Barak gets the nom...in vain of course. Enjoy. People are going to vote whatever way they r going to. If you are a racist...then u r going to vote a certain way. If u support high tax breaks for ceos that r taking the US for a ride...then vote republican. If u are for pretending to fight wars where real US soldiers die...then vote republican. If you are in2 health care that places profits before the US population...then vote Republican. Don't even get me started on outsourcing and the selling out of America to china and any other takers. It is just real frightening to reasonable, logical people that MOST of hillary supporters r racist, ignorant, uneducated people that like how things currently going. But I'm glad that the calculus(that's numbers and figuring to most of u) shows that most Americans do not like the way things are currently going, and change is going to occur. So vote for mccain if you like how things r going. If u don't then vote for the Democrat nom. It's not a real threat to say u won't....uh your vote was counted in the other column anyway?
