In today's World Nut Daily, premier Nut Jerome Corsi has submitted an article which in his small mind exposes Obama's real estate transaction with Rezco as somehow sinister or unethical. He points out that the property tax notice and title to the property is in the name of an attorney for the law firm, William Miceli. The Candid Blogger exposes Corsi's argument as foolish. An aide to Rep. Barney Frank, the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, said negotiators had agreement on an oversight board and some form of help for homeowners facing foreclosure. The aide said the negotiators were "not there yet" on whether the government could take a stake in the companies it help.
Well, I have a few suggestions that should help both homeowners and renters who, as usual, have gotten screwed under a Republican administration.

"Let me say up front that I am an Obama supporter in this Presidential Primary, but I have been very careful not to criticize Clinton because I knew that we'd have to work with whichever candidate won this Primary--but after her "assassination" comment today, I have had it with her! I don't buy her apology this time.
First, she apologized to the Kennedy family, but I have heard no apology to the Obama family or to Black people who were initially so concerned about the possibility of assassination that some were initially reluctant to support Senator Obama. I have heard no apology to the Obama children who had to hear the possibility of their father being assassinated!
The comment was totally insensitive no matter what she meant. The context in which she said it can be read no way other than "he could be assassinated and I would be there to step in and take over". I have forgiven all of her blunders, attacks and so-called misunderstood statements, but this latest one is unforgivable. I hope you agree and that you will deal with it appropriately. I don't know about other women, but all of the Black women I've spoken with today are livid!

At the so-called ABC Debate, Barack Obama withstood a wholesale barrage of "personal attack' questions that have nothing to do with the issues facing Americans. Attack dogs Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos turned in embarrassing performances as they repeatedly berated Obama about his "bitter" comment and his relationship with every known radical he ever met over the past 40 years. It was one of the most partisan displays in a supposedly neutral arena that this writer has ever seen and even made FOX News look more "fair and balanced".
Couple their obvious disdain for Obama with frequent commercials and repeated shots of Chelsea Clinton and other Clinton supporters, and it was a truly embarrassing moment for our network media. This debate was mishandled and obviously slanted. Compared with the work of Brian Williams and Tim Russert of NBC, this disgraceful performance by two lightweight network hitmen, was amateurish and an insult to the American people as well as ABC itself. Obama correctly complained about the campaign being bogged down in media-driven bits of gossip and obsessiveness over any misstatement a candidate makes. The tactic has been to "take one statement and beat it to death," Obama observed.
The one positive observation we can take from this fraud dressed up as a debate was this. Hillary Rodham Clinton said emphatically that Barack Obama can win the White House, in direct contradiction to her repeated efforts to deny him the Democratic presidential nomination by insisting that he would lead the party to defeat. "Yes, yes, yes," she said when pressed about Obama's electability and ability to defeat John McCain during a campaign debate six days before the Pennsylvania primary.

Responding to being "busted" in a big L-I-E, the Clinton campaign is now saying that Mrs. Clinton "misspoke" about her experience in Bosnia. She vividly described in detail how she was forced to abandon any ceremony and run with her head down to avoid sniper fire. THAT NEVER HAPPENED, but Hillary "misspoke". With as much attention to detail as Hillary provided, I would have to re-categorize that misstatement as a LIE. Now we hear that her "experiences" in Darfur and Rwanda are also lies.
