A group of political activists and radical boat-rockers went to New Mexico after Democrat Patricia Madrid lost a 2006 midterm election to un-seat Representative Heather Wilson (R-NM) Madrid had the election in her pocket right up until she froze during a televised debate. The group was in Southern California at the time screaming answers at Madrid on video. The activists came to NM in 2007 to help turn a Bush Red State of 2004 to a Democratic SWEEP in 2008. (Obama/Biden, 1 Senate, 3 Representatives) They used a brilliant strategy of behind the scenes political meddling, email/letter writing campaigns, news service message board posting and calling local talk shows on Cable Access TV and one of the Radio Free Conservative AM radio stations. They gave the people the vital information and alternative viewpoints they REALLY NEEDED TO HEAR!After 8 years of Bush/Cheney, the boat-rockers had one goal in mind… DESTROY the Republican Party and the “Conservatives Labyrinth” (“Ominous Politics” by John S. The City and it's law enforcement agents were SO BUSY generating income, they MISSED CRIME AFTER CRIME AFTER CRIME...What really gets me is how in such a sun soaked, windy ass place… Chavez did NOTHING to make ABQ an example of the alternative energy city of the future.AND on a personal level, I made sure both Berry and Romero knew how I was treated by the City after my truck and tools were stolen from my parking lot by a skilled tow operator.Everyone involved with Albuquerque City government including the cops I’ve dealt with, have sent out one message. We will not take responsibility for Albuquerque being the auto thief capital of the planet… INSTEAD ABQ city government represented by Mayor M. Chavez will blame Mexicans… GET THE PICTURE? The American PEOPLE are at the CROSSROADS in 2009. We can do NOTHING and let the Status Quo ruin everything America stands for… OR, we can fight for the UNALIENABLE rights and freedoms that were “endowed by the Creator”. “NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION” has been ingrained in the public consciousness by the recent right-wing Tea Party Movement. Once again Republicans/Conservatives took a Patriotic symbol and put their own spin on it. (These LOSERS misrepresent American HISTORY, vital issues and the Constitution as badly as they interpret the Bible, lol)
I want to correct this travesty with facts that are more in tune with what the Founding Fathers had in mind. It’s a slogan that described the grievance, people who lived in the original 13 Colonies, had with the Brits. The British Ruling Class was distant and unsympathetic to the wants and needs of the American Colonists. (sound familiar?)
Here’s the thing… The PEOPLE had BALLS back then, so they REJECTED the Stamp Act of 1765 which was repealed. In 1773, years of fermenting anger/frustration turned to violent uprisings (one most famously known as the Boston Tea Party) which led to the great American Revolution. Like I said… the PEOPLE had COURAGE back then. (and didn’t like being played for FOOLS)Single payer health care WAS Obama’s Waterloo and he already lost that battle. Our sacred Obama/Biden Administration seems to have retreated to the weakest possible version of Healthcare reform. Speaking for myself, if the politicHo’s leave single payer out of health care reform then I rather they did nothing at all. It will only end up being a failure and huge waste of taxpayers dollars.
Let me explain how this ONE ISSUE can dash the hopes of a majority of the American PEOPLE. I have a question… When did the USA become the United Suckers of America? Here’s the average American taxpayer… basically honest, hardworking, law abiding citizens caught in the middle.
On one side are Corporations, who have all the RIGHTS of a citizen but none of the responsibilities (limited liability). The Corporations don’t REPRESENT the American PEOPLE, their only concern is profit and stock holders. On the other side of Mr/MS average taxpayer is the Government. A UNION of Federal, State, County and local government workers and elected officials. Many of these government officials/workers take a sworn OATH to UPHOLD the Constitution, PROTECT, SERVE and work for the best interests of the American PEOPLE. But things CHANGED in the 1980’s. It was a REPEAT of what happened to the PEOPLE before the Great Depression. Government Representatives of the average taxpayer were wined, dined. sexed, and bribed by wealthy powerful men who wanted the game rigged so they would ALWAYS come out on top. (Status Quo) It was and IS hard times, THE AVERAGE TAXPAYER started to NOTICE things… On the one side Corporations spending the last few decades getting huge government subsides and stimulus while *@~/ing over the American PEOPLE every chance they got. On the other side government workers and elected officials (public sector) had the kind of JOB/PENSION/HEALTH CARE SECURITY the average taxpayer could only HOPE for or dream about. (pursuit of HAPPINESS) Civil servants, my skinny Italian-American @$$… just who the #*~/ is serving WHO?Caught in the middle is the average American citizen, PAYING FOR IT ALL while watching their jobs, pensions, prosperity, health and happiness FADE AWAY! They started to realize this was the price of their APATHY of the last few decades. They didn’t hold their leaders ACCOUNTABLE for their actions, they forgot ETERNAL VIGILANCE included DEMANDING ETHICS AND RESPONSIBILITY! Because of this error in judgment and lax standards (deregulation), an orgy of waste fraud, abuse, scandal, corruption, arms dealing, war profiteering, violations of the Constitution HAPPENED! (which the 4th Estate mostly ignored or diverted attention from) Vain, self-serving, power mad, greed stricken silver spoon Con Artists ravaged, off-shored and expatriated most of our nations wealth and resources… AND THEN GOT THE GOVERNMENT to force the DEBT of these criminal actions ON the average taxpayer. (while the Con Artists got multimillion dollar salaries, golden parachutes, $150,000 speaking engagements and police/secret service protection) PLEASE! Someone tell me WHERE the REPRESENTATION IS in this whole scenario? What did the average American taxpayer get for their tax dollars in the last 13 years? You dumbass numbskull mother#*~/‘s really need to learn that a con is a CON! No matter in a back alley or from the Ivory Towers, the trick is to RECOGNIZE IT and not get played for a FOOL…Whether one believes it or not… Single Payer Health Care WAS the Waterloo of both Obama’s Presidency and rights/freedoms of the American PEOPLE. Y’know, all that about “Of, By, For, Life, Liberty, Happiness, Equal Rights and JUSTICE”. Single Payer was the most efficient, cost effective way to start down the path to the American Dream. This ONE issue can rock the foundations of the Status Quo much like the Tea Party did at the start of this great nation. Not in the way Conservatives think, though. Single payer is not government control over our lives but a way to get out from under the thumb of this Corporate/Government fascist police state that uses strong arm tactics resembling ORGANIZED CRIME to get what they want. A first step to bring POWER back to the PEOPLE. The kind of CHANGE most American taxpayers really want (whether they know it or NOT)
Can anyone tell me with a straight face what it is Insurance Companies DO… beyond creating a pool of people they can profit from? Is making outrageous profits from the suffering of your fellow man/woman a RIGHT or a PRIVILEGE? Single Payer was the way for Progressives to get rid of evil middle-men between YOU and your Doctor. That’s all it was, pooling all Americans so we could watch out for least of our Brothers. A PITCH TO OBAMA 12-7-08Note: Obama on Meet the Press.After half a lifetime as a community organizer, environmentalist and CONCERNED CITIZEN in the trenches fighting for the RIGHTS/protections of our Constitution… I can tell you ONE THING for sure about elected officials of the Democratic Party. THEIR STAFF MEMBERS STEAL IDEAS FROM CONSTITUENTS AND PRESENT THEM AS THEIR OWN! But that’s not going to happen here because I’m posting this letter on my blog so there’s NO MISTAKE about who came up with this amazing plan of ACTION first.First let me say the Obama campaign was the first political movement on the Left since the 60’s that WASN’T poorly planned and organized. It would be a shame to let such a widespread movement of, by, for the PEOPLE end after this historical election. Believe me, you’re going to need as MANY of the American PEOPLE on your side as possible. John S. Saloma III WARNED Democrats and Liberals way back in 1984 in his almost prophetic book “Ominous Politics, The New Conservative Labyrinth”. Unfortunately the WORD never got out because Saloma died (mysteriously) not long after completing this enlightened manuscript. I’m here to resurrect a plan of action to counter the Limbaughs, Coulters, O’Reillys, Hannidys, Michael Steels among other right-wing fanatics that get so much national exposure. Picture THIS! A lecture tour featuring Community Organizers. I can put together a group of passionate, righteous activists who really know how to make a speech, set up workshops and get the PEOPLE involved. One can tell the Right-wing is TERRIFIED of community organizers by the way they demonized them during the 2008 election. The last thing Republicans want is activists getting the American PEOPLE all worked up and educated. Come on, don’t be such stiffs. Share the wealth and national spotlight with the unknown hero’s who do all the legwork, workshops, petition drives, voter registration, fund raising, list calling etc… Let the average joe/jane concerned citizen have a voice. Think of the organization the Democrats could have at their disposal for the 2010 election and beyond.I don’t think most Americans can appreciate the gravity of what was accomplished here in New Mexico (among other western state successes). 1000’s of concerned citizens worked night and day to turn the state from Republican red to Democratic blue in one clean sweep. Now I demand someone from the Obama campaign and Democratic Party recognize my contribution to the effort. Not only all the volunteer work, weekly meetings, voter registration, cell phone minutes, etc…I single handedly changed the culture of Conservative talk radio in the Western United States. Between KFI AM-640 in Los Angeles and KKOB AM-7.70 in Albuquerque we’re talking about a 100,000 watts of propaganda power. KKOB alone reaches 17 states. During the 2008 election I started stacking the calls on local conservative talk show to undo the damage Limbaugh and Hannidy were causing to weak minds. (I have most of it on audio tape) I provided legitimate and VERIFIABLE opposing viewpoints to all the callers who were parroting everything the Limbaughs on the American scene were spewing. If one listens to Limbaugh on a Monday morning, it becomes clear what the talking points from think tanks of the “Conservative Labyrinth” will be for that week. In 30 second soundbites I would give the “ditto heads” something to THINK about. Not only THAT but I saved NM Senator Bingaman's ASS after he spoke about the Fairness Doctrine on KKOB. Soon the tone and trend of callers became more reasonable and open-minded. Rep. Heather Wilson called me a professional boat rocker several times on KKOB. But in reality it was purely unpaid volunteer on MY cell phone minutes dime, y’know? But now I need funding to keep the effort ALIVE. As I write this (12-8-08) Rush Limbaugh is on the radio equating Raim Emanuel (ck sp.) to Russian strong man tactics. Rush is resurrecting McCarthyism to compare communists to Union workers. Believe me… All of Bush’s Corporate, Wall St., K-St, cronies who made obscene profits from 8 YEARS of waste, fraud, abuse, arms dealing, WAR PROFITTEERING, etc… are going to do everything possible to ruin the Obama/Biden administration. As ranking Conservative Richard Viguerie said not long ago: “… after a miserable 4 years of Democratic rule Republicans will ride in white horses to save the day”. There are those in the Justice Dept. and CIA will be working against you like they did to Clinton and Carter. The spirit of John S. Saloma III is calling Obama and the Democratic Party. Don’t make the same mistakes of the past. I have a legitimate plan of action, I like to think of it as a new long range strategic dimension in politics that will put the final nail in the Neo-Conservative coffin. Please don’t ignore my plea for help. You’ll be helping yourselves too. (You need to keep you Progressive supporters happy because right now they getting worried about the Centrist nature of your appointments)
NOTE: I’ve lost everything since coming to NM to volunteer for the Dem’s. My truck got stolen with a whole construction business on the back. So I had to walk and bus miles to Obama/Democrat meetings and events. Late one night on the way home after an Obama meeting I was jumped by two guys, they could have been crack heads or maybe Republicans. I don’t know cause I was knocked out and kicked savagely while down. So give me a #*~/’n break, PLEASE!
THINGS OBAMA/BIDEN MUST ADDRESSFirst thing Obama needs to do is REALLOCATE it’s resources and focus on what is truly BEST FOR THE American PEOPLE. The working class, which also happens to be the BACKBONE of this great nation, has been devastated by those who decided it was good to move jobs to Asia and the greener pastures of slave wage labor pools. Do we really need ANOTHER weapons system or a mission to Mars? Obama MUST start a trend by getting our great minds thinking about ENERGY ALTERNATIVES and other innovative technologies that the American PEOPLE can actually use or benefit from. Many of those involved with Obama campaign success are now working on a Civilian Oversight movement. Bush WILL be held accountable. Just look at Bush showing his true colors as he moves to Ivory Towers of the Dallas elite. WHITES ONLY! That ranch in Crawford was just a prop to fools Republican voters. Yea George W. is good old boy we can have a beer with. Only The Great American Beer is now owned by the Belgians. W. guzzled all your beer and then spit the warm swill back in your face. I’VE GOT MY COPY of the “Shock Doctrine” (Niomi Klein) and “The Prosecution of George W. Bush For Murder” (Vincent Bugliosi) and so do million of other proud American concerned citizens. Help me bring them together. Hatred for George W. is a very good organizing tool and rallying point. NOTE: I can’t help guessing what the book selection at the new George W. Bush Library will be. Whoa! I was watching the Biden/Palin VP debate. On the subject of the Iraq war Palin shrieked at Obama/Biden “…your plan is the white flag of surrender…” Swear I saw Dick Cheney in her eyes. Palin had no answer to the question about helping those in foreclosure renegotiate their mortgages. She doesn’t want any talk of looking back at the grand mistakes and failures of the Bush Adm. She thinks Reagan brought out “the shinning beacon on a hill”... I liked one thing she said “McCain is the man who needs to leave… ahhh lead”

I volunteered for the Obama Campaign not only to help Barack win the Presidency, but to help Democrats pick up congressional seats and ORGANIZE a Civilian Oversight Movement that would follow elected officials to Washington, DC and the descision making process. You know... all that about "Of, By and For the PEOPLE". After 8 years of George W. #*@/ Up, I felt CONCERNED CITIZENS needed to take back their government and force elected officials to ONCE AGAIN work for the best interests of the American PEOPLE.
I saw the crowds flocking to Obama as fertile ground for such organizing activities. So imagine my dissapointment when I was told the campaign was NOT interested in this plan of action. I realize the importance of voter registration and canvas drives but while doing the planned campaign activities why could all these CONCERNED CITIZENS not form coalitions to DEMAND ETHICS, RESPONSIBILITY and ACCOUNTABILITY at the same time.
The Democratic Congress allowing the Bush Administration to acheive their FISA domestic spying dreams and THEN passing down such police state powers down to local law enforcement. Letting these criminals and con artists of the Bush Administration to change the Constitution was MORE THAN I COULD TAKE! I would rather fight terrorists hand to hand in the streets than allow Bush to trash the Constitution...
I will still vote for Obama and the Democrats but it's only a "lesser of two evils" scenario. If anyone from the campaign wakes up to my suggestions or wants to hire me as an acitvist consultant or staff contact me. My time as a volunteer is OVER!

I got to know the people in these churches and asked them about what they feel is most important about their belief system. The overwhelming response of abortion and gay marriage left me scratching my head. I don’t remember these 2 subjects mentioned in the bible.
