My most recent miniature oil portrait of Barack, currently available on Ebay. A great way to purchase a very nice and detailed original portrait of Barack at an affordable price.
I'm a published artist and gallery exhibited artist, but perhaps of interest to visitors is that I'm the creator of the formerly Right-Wing conservative Christian Faithmouse cartoon which during the past year has taken a non-partisan tact. A number or my Barack Obama paintings/portraits appear in top results in GIS.
About Faithmouse
I take requests for paintings and cartoons as well; the Faithmouse Megathread on Something Awful is a good place to view some of this recent work.
Anyone is welcome to post the above image to their own blog, sites or forums.

'Memories Of Barack Obama's Breakfast' by Dan Lacey - Ebay Auction
I took a pause yesterday from painting portraits of Barack, a number of which I've posted to this site, to create this interpretation of the recently withdrawn half-eaten breakfast which was recently offered for auction on Ebay. Unlike the withdrawn auction of the pilferred breakfast which was meant to benefit Hillary Clinton's campaign, a portion of the proceeds of this auction will be donated to Obama O8!
This auction has become something of a phenomenon on its own, with over 4000 visitors in a 24 hour period and an article in the Scranton Times, hometown of the Glider Diner where Barack originally tried to finish his breakfast.
One man’s garbage, another man’s online phenomenon - The Times-Tribune
From the article-
"Dan Lacey, the Minnesota author of the Christian cartoon “Faithmouse,” saw the waffle image online and said he was inspired to make the “Memories” painting, which he offers for sale on eBay.He paints on the side to support his cartoon business and has made other portraits of Mr. Obama.“I just thought it was a very nice-looking, half-eaten waffle. It caught my artistic eye and immediately engaged me,” Mr. Lacey said. The Glider Diner waffles became an item of political buzz Monday when a reporter, asking Mr. Obama about President Jimmy Carter’s meeting with Hamas leaders, received the response: “Can I just have my waffles?” The Republican National Committee jumped on the waffle comment and tied it together with other comments to try to show Mr. Obama “continued to dodge questions from the media.”But Mr. Lacey said the waffle story that spread around the country paints a different side of Mr. Obama.“I saw the original story about him wanting to eat his waffles and thought, he wasn’t being shallow. That was a real, unguarded moment. It was authentic,” he said."
Your bid helps to support my production of personal, hand-painted portraits of Barack, as well as the Barack Obama campaign itself. As Barack Obama supporter John of Lancashire, United Kingdom recently emailed "I could never afford something like this until you came along. THANKS!"
