In the space between fear and fearlessness... Love dominates life.
A Female Dan Quayle: Gov. Sarah Palin

A heartbeat away from President of the United States of America (leader of the free world)...
For the Democrats, Joe Biden. Experienced in foreign and domestic policy. Seasoned and poised. Incorruptible-- tested repeatedly and severely by life. A "regular joe".
For the Republicans, Gov. Sarah Palin, a candidate currently under legislative investigation, with less domestic and foreign policy sophistication, than Dan Quayle. Conservatives loved and still love 1988's Quayle; still believing he was a good VP. Specifically, Palin's belief in creationism, her pro-life stance, which inculdes no exception for the rape and incest. Further, her first US Passport was issued in 2007; which (for a vice-presidential candidate), denotes a stunning lack of interest in events occurring outside of her family and Alaska.
The experience issue is now off the table. Never mind, McCain has back tracked on his claim he would select "the best qualified candidate".
As President Clinton noticed, Senator Obama's first presidential decision, the choice of Joe Biden, demonstrates good judgment. Senator McCain's choice, not so much.
Where Barak wants to be challenged by his VP; McCain (like GHW Bush (41), seems to prefer his own council. At his age (72 years old) and with his health history, it is reasonable to argue, rather than bold, McCain's decisions is reckless.
Too harsh? Consider, 8 years ago a friend, age 38 died of melanoma. At the time of his death, tumors were everywhere in his spine and hips. This gruesome result, even though just two years prior, he was given a clean bill of health, with no trace of the melanoma cancer which was excised from his left arm in 1998.
Thus, it is quite reasonable to state, U.S. Senator McCain is gambling the future of the USA on his overzealous desire to be POTUS.
A heartbeat away: Senator Joe Biden vs. Gov. Sarah Palin
Obama-Biden vs. McCain-Palin... Now, who has the correct temperament and good judgment? Which ticket for President of the United States makes you feel safer?
