I have been following the Election '08 feature on Facebook and Barack is absolutely dominating there. So far, over 170,000 votes have been cast and the overall (Democrats and Republicans) break down is like this:
Barack Obama: 25%
Rudy Giuliani: 9%
Hillary Clinton: 7%
Ron Paul: 7%
All others, 4% or lower
The Democratic breakdown is like this:
Barack Obama: 46%
Hillary Clinton: 14%
John Edwards: 6%
Al Gore: 6%
All others, 2% or lower.
While it is technically a volunteer poll, so is every other poll out there, since one can simply hang up the phone. At over 170,000 votes cast thus far, it is a pretty good indicator of how the younger voters are feeling. We just need to make sure these young supporters know how important it is to go out and vote for Barack.
