Hello Obamanation!
I was just over on McCain's blog looking around trying to understand what is going on with our internet citizens. What dismays me the most about all websites is the divisive nature of people. We love to make those that don't agree with us terrible people. When we do this, we can never get to the real issues of things. I don't want Obama to only remind us of the Bush third term and end there, I want him to tell us why and why this is bad for America.
What is most sad for me is the loss of Hillary supporters. I read their posts and can't decide if they are moving because McCain is good or just because he isn't Obama. Would I feel the same if the roles were reverseed. Then I think of all the wonderful Obamacrats that have come here to support Obama. What do McCain supporters think of this? Do they think they are voting against their interests? I wonder. I do believe that it takes a lot more conviction for a Republican to vote for Obama than a Democrat to vote for McCain. One question I have for Hillary's folks. If Hillary won, what would you want Obama's people to do?
The parties are being redefined by this election. Obama is attracting level headed, digging, world oriented people. Hillary attracted protectionists, practical, politically ignored followers that were comfortable with her message of familiar. McCain collects those out of touch with everyone else, that like things as they are and don't see the world from outside of America's borders. All these differences still boil down to a few common things.
What we don't agree on:
Depending on how you line up on these things, you will be with Obama or McCain or not vote. I've decided that my job is to educate my fellow Americans on what they believe about these three things and more.
I love Obama, because I think that is what he is saying too!
I decided I need to investigate what the deal is with IRAN. Are they really trying to start some mess with us or are we getting some propaganda from our government and others.

Hi Obama Nation!
I want to start compiling a reminder to give to Obama that contains all the reasons why his supporters are behind him. What things do you want him to not forget when he is in office? It could have our names and a date with a statement, note, quote or whatever. When he is in the White House I want it to be on the desk of the Oval Office as a reminder of why he is doing what he does. I would like one for everyday of his first term...that is at least 1460...Like one of those calendars! What do you guys think? Can we do it? I'm looking to setup some site for this so it will be easy.Does anyone want to help me? Or have ideas? Send me a message. Of course this does not take precedents over calling!FIRED UP! READY TO GO!
