For those of you interested in calling Ohio voters please get involved. Here is the link on our site to do so. We also have many other states that need your involvement. Keep up the great work!
Also, we are still needing huge amounts of funds to counteract the GOP lies and reach the undecided voters in the swing states. Please donate even $1 if you can. It really does make a difference!!! I try to donate a minimum of $1 when one of our network friends asks for help or the campaign makes a plea for a goal. HOWEVER...if you cannot please make 10 calls, knock on 10 doors, hand out 10 flyers, register 10 voters, or send out postcards on one of the events. IT DOES MATTER!!! YOUR WORK MATTERS!!!

After the last "our economy is fundamentally strong" comment made just yesterday (9/15/08) I had to respond.
I was out yesterday at the local post office. I was minding my own business in line, but wearing an Obama '08 t-shirt. I had a man walk up to me and say "how dare you wear that t-shirt." I probably responded too casually by saying "I wondered if the pink was better than the gray." He said, "that guy thinks he can run for President because he is black and went to Harvard." Too whi ch I replied, "sir, I doubt those were the first two things on his mind when he decided to run, have you seen the headlines today by any chance?" All over the country the news is breaking that Our stock market hit the lowest it has been since the 9/11 attacks and our economy is tailspinning. How many houses are being foreclosed on daily? How high is the unemployment rate? How many people have filed bankruptcy due to lack of heathcare, how much is our deficit to date? Wait, "Our ecomony is fundamentally strong". This just in from the GOP candidate for President of the United States as of Sept. 15, 2008.However, I am carrying on conversations about race and education. Don't get me started on equal rights, education, and the plethora of other things not being discussed in our sound economic state. Here's the heart of the matter. The GOP is not living in reality. They are out of touch with the average American and their families who are suffering. The campaign advisers are those very people that helped to make the collapse on Sept. 15th possible! Now, who is really fundamentally sound? Yet, all over America GOP supporters aren't informing themselves of facts they are dividing themselves because of race, sex, and fear.
I have actually received this email from a lot of people in different states where volunteers are sleeping on floors and working tirelessly for the campaign. This particular note posted below is seeking people in S.E. PA and N. DE. If you have contacts in these places or ideas on how to help please let us know. Thanks Debbie for sending me this question!!
Dawn,You probably can't help with the project I am trying to do, but in the off-chance that you have connections in the South East PA/ N Delaware area, I'll throw it out there. We have a lot of volunteers that work tirelessly in our Obama field office. They don't stop to eat a decent meal. I make a big dinner & bring it in for the staff every Monday. That's one night out of 7. I posted it as an event & hung signs in the office to try & get more people involved in taking care of these people who came in from out-of-state & put their lives on hold. And the few locals who are so dedicated that they never leave the office. I'm going to hit a few restaurants for donations in this republican area. (Must target carefully) Do you have any ideas/connections here?HQ is in Media, PA. See my page for event listing.
I just received this from another group member. It has some valuable talking points in the videos. They might sound a bit more like campaign ads in some places but do have solid information in them that can be sent to people. Here is an excerpt from the email:
