She's done and indeed no more than a sad political joke. It's best to ignore this buffoon from this point on all you Obamans out there.
She's as relevant in this race as Mike Gravel now.
The debate that was a must win for Hillary Clinton turned into a one-sided defeat for her. Her answers were aimless, her platforms were non-existent and she showed horrible instability.
Obama, as he has in every match-up of these 2, dominated from beginning to end with an array of clear ideas, concise answers and intelligent responses.
The final nail in the coffin was what looked like a concession of defeat by Clinton at the end. Today Texas polls pulled even and Ohio pulled to within 5.
With her unfortunate and filthy campaign tactics, Sillary Clinton deserves no more acknowledgment from us. She is defeated. It's time to move ahead to our next opponent.
I don't expect much diffence between Clinton and McCain in terms of desperate and hate filled attacks, but we easiliy dfeated her and we will easily defeat him as well.
44!
With a 13 to 9 state advantage and an overall victory in delegates, we are in command of this race!
The next week features states that all favor Obama with what should be landslide margins. At the end of this month of February Obama will have the delegate lead and the chance to continue to make gains on our message.
We are going to win this nomination because it is our destiny!
fact- Obama has more experience than Hillary. He has been an elected legislator for 11 years. She has for 7 years and she never held public office until the age of 55.
fact- Obama opposed the war from the beginning and Hillary voted for it.
fact- Hillary claims that she will reform health care, but could not do it in 8 years during her husbands administration despite the fact that it was her ONLY responsibility. (incompetence)
fact- Hillary's "35 years of experience in civil service" consist of her working as a corporate lawyer for the Rose law firm (remember them from whitewater?) from 1977- 1993
fact- Obama had the academic credentials to work on Wall Street, but instead settled for moderate pay as a community organizer and civil rights attorney.
fact- Hillary has committed perjury, obstruction of justice, comtempt of court and slander all during her time as 1st lady. she also helped her husband Bill quiet his rape victim Juanita Broadrick with implicit threats in 1978.
fact- Obama features on this site proposals to issues that outnumber the issue section on Hilary's website by 4 pages to every 1.
fact- Obama leads repub frontrunner John McCain in ALL national polls for a general election. Hillary trails McCain in those same polls.
fact- Obama has never told a lie to a public audience. Hillary does this on a regular basis.
Many don't understand how the delegate process works and think that we lost that state, when actually we won! Obama-13 delegates, Clinton -12 delegates.
So tell other voters this fact. It's important for people to know the truth, that we are still the frontrunner in this race.
We cannot afford to go back in time to the perverted politics of the Clinton era. It's time to move foward with a leader that is going to give each and every American a VOICE.
It's time to turn the page. It's time for Barack Obama.
Here's an interesting diversion for our little campaign. I've taken the time to compile my list of top tens. Please feel free to make you list and/or critique mine. Let's see if our candidate can live up to these guys. I think he can...
1. Abe Lincoln- no disputing this
2. Franklin Roosevelt- had a long influence beyond that of stopping Hitler
3. George Washington- hard to drop him this low, but had no choice
4. Thomas Jefferson- ditto...
5. James Madison- is underappreciated as a founding father
6. Dwight Eisenhower- non-partisan leader instituted desegregation
7. John Kennedy- innovative activist inspired a nation
8. Grover Cleveland- first to fight for womens rights
9. Theodore Roosevelt- made us an industrial giant
10. Barack Obama- ???
In a just released Zogby poll, Americans were asked what Presidential candidate they would NEVER vote for under any circumstances. Sillary Clinton scored the highest never percentage with 51% of Americans saying they would never vote for her. Of the major candidates Barack Obama scored the lowest or most favorable across the board with 36% saying they would never vote for him. All other candidates were in the 42 to 47 range. Only radical Ron Paul scored near Sillary with 49%.
So get this information to deluded Sillary supporters. They must know that she is unelectable and too divisive to be an effective leader.
get out and blog. It's more effective than phone canvassing, because you reach a larger number of people with a message that you are delivering. Go to any and all networking sites and start dialogue with voters. I go to yahoo, facebook, myspace, hillaryclinton.com, and ALL of the other presidential candidates sites. I go to social websites and get Baracks message in. Any way i can. This is very effective and costs you only a small amount of time.
Anywhere they have open blogging, DO IT! Even if it's a social site not related to politics. Do it. Go to your favorites, go to new ones. Suna Z. and myself have been converting, literal, boatloads of Hillary supporters to Barack supporters on her website in the past week. This method is effective. And it's working as a New York Hillary supporter just admitted that her numbers were falling fast in that region, (her own state) and she considered many points sunaz and i made in a debate. So we will get her over to team Barack, just like we've gotten MANY others. One piece at a time.
Supporters of sillary clinton are most often less educated. So they are among the easiest to persuade. (they are also theleast likely to make it to the polls, that's why Barack truly is ahead in this race) But that aside, thye do need to be converted if we are to avert the disaster is Sillary.
make these points-
1. she has no experience running a state, city, goverment department (even Bill never appointed her to anything, that should send a message), business, payroll, community, not even a commitee in her 60 years on this Earth. So what experience does she possess exactly? 4 years of atrocious pro-war voting in congress and a comically failed health "idea" during her days as first lady that was considered nothing more than childlike. Barack has been an elected official for 4 years more than her and he is 16 years younger.
2. She is too divisive to win the White House. The reality is that many americans despise this woman for various reasons and it would make it very difficult for her to win any GE. Even if she were somehow elected, she would split the country in 2 as it has been for the last 8 years. Really the last 28 years, if you think about it. we don't ned that again, and with Barack we have a candidate that is favorable with even hardcore republicans as well as swing voters and of course Dems.
3. She will turn the progress in womans leadership backward. Nancy Pelosi's appointment as our third in command was an incredible achievement. But she was qualified and deserving and has done a great job. Hillary is not qualified or deserving and lacks the aptitude to lead this nation. (she really doesn't understand many issues) And this would hurt fiture QUALIFIED women that could be our President. Her failure would never be forgotten.
so talk to those that say they support hillary and let them know that they need to turn a different page. Our future is at stake
As a last resort, and only if a stubborn Sillary Clinton stays in the race and somehow her undereducated followers manage to hand her the Dem nomination, than let's keep Barack IN THE RACE. And running for the Presidency as an Independent!
He has the money and the support. As well as the ideology. But most importantly, he has the only chance of beating a Republican candidate. A 3 person race for the White House would give him an advantage and would be a signal of his commitment to leadership. I would be embolden by this kind of effort and I know he would sweep into office.
Right now, let's keep it under the table, but if people foolishly continue to support Hillary, it must be a realistic option to discuss.
I personally don't think it will be necessary, because I'm confident in Americas wisdom and certain that Barry will win the Dem nom. But it's always nice to be prepared...
We have to spread the word. We are at a crucial stage in our nations history. We can ill afford an unqualified and utterly incompetent candidate like H. Clinton to be the democratic nominee. She is not capable of being the president of the U.S. And she stands no chance of defeating any republican. Barack is the only candidate that is qualified to lead the nation amongst the field of current candidates. He is the only candidate that can defeat the republican machine. Why would anyone support a near imbecile such as Hillary? I don't know the answer to that question, but I will engage everyone I speak to on this topic and persuade them to vote Obama.
We must bring these points to the table. We must be active in getting the push out to vote for Barack. Our future is at stake. Clinton would be a worse president than Bush. But she won't get past Giuliani or Romney. Both, also, terrible choices. Get on the Clinton website and CHANGE VOTERS MINDS ABOUT OBAMA. Get out word. WE have to do this. It is our American duty. We don't want to be in a position of saying I told you so. In regards to people later realizing that they should have voted Barack. CONVINCE THEM NOW. This is game time. We have got to get this candidate the nomination. And take back America.
Once again Sen. Barack Obama has proven that he is the only choice for the Presidency of the United States of America.
With clear and intelligent responses in the Iowa debate, Barack set himself far apart from a muddled field of clueless candidates who seemed to only be able to retread the O-Man's ideas and attempt to pass them off as their own. Barack continues to impart wise and innovative solutions at every turn. While embarrassingly underqualified candidates such as Mrs. Clinton just speak in broad generalities, only concerned of her own image and oblivious to the concerns of America or the responsibilities of the Presidency.
Is it even necessary to continue this campaign charade? Barack is the only choice, the only candidate we can trust to give America back to the people.
I see a discernable pattern of great men that had what was considered to be less experience going into the White House. It started with Abraham Lincoln and last century was carried on with John Kennedy. And now we have another similar leader to carry on the torch. That leader is Barack Obama.
Hillary Clinton doesn't have the temperament to be President. She says she would have voted differently on the war had she known more. That's hindsight. We can't afford a leader full of excuses and behind in vision. I'd rather have a leader like Barack Obama, who instead routinely exhibits wise forsight to matters as he did with this war and as his records attests.
It's not often that we have a chance to elect a truly ethical candidate. One forthright enough to admit mistakes he made as a youth. Mistakes that other candidates would work overtime to cover up. I find this refreshing.
I attended Senator Obama's rally in Los Angeles, and as I listened to his words I felt they were his own. Not the same canned responses that Clinton and other politicians use over and over again. What I am saying is that his speeches feel authentic. As if they mean something. As if he has given thought to his message. Not had it handed to him by a campaign manager.
I don't think we need anyone else to enter this race. I think we have our man in Obama. But for him to be elected the voices of our young voters must be heard.
When I was 20 years old, I enthusiastically cast my first vote for Gore. He lost by controversy, but I felt my vote counted. Sadly, as the recounts followed in the ensuing weeks, I found that many of my friends in my same age group did not in fact vote. Some even regretted it. I would hate to see this happen again. I'm going to work as hard as I can to persuade young voters like myself and those now younger than me to support Senator Obama in 2008. My hope is that we won't repeat the mistakes of 2000. And elect a qualified and visionary leader!
