Hello Everyone, Especially Longshoremen - Friends and Family!
The Obama Campaign Office in District #10, S.F.'s first Obama Office, will conduct a massive Early Voter Registration Drive at the Longshoremen's Hall at 400 Northpoint in San Francisco, California, on this Friday, 10/17/08. We will begin registering at 5:30 a.m. and again at 4:00 p.m., both registrations will take place before Dispatch.
There are many Longshoremen brothers/sisters in need of early Voter Registration cards who have not had the opportunity to register early. We will be there with smiles on our faces and love in our heart to help our brother and sisters help Barack Obama become our next President!

We are holding the 2nd Obama BBQ and Early Voter Registration Drive this Saturday, October 4th, 2008, at the Obama Campaign Office in District #10 at 4636 Third Street @ Newcomb Avenue, in District #10 - San Francisco, CA 94124 from 1:00-4:00 p.m., come rain or shine!
In collaboration with ABU, BWOPA, BVHP REPS, other BVHP community organizations, and the California Democratic Party, Early Voter Registration will begin at 1:00 p.m. Staff will be available to register anyone who is 18 years or older, and not on parole. Ex-felons are okay to vote! Other members will "pound the pavement" and go door-to-door to register residents.

The laws have changed. If you were ever incarcerated and are free and are not on parole. You can vote. If you are on probation you can vote. This means if your debt to society has been paid, you can vote. (Once a person completes their parole, their debt has been paid.)
