Recently, comedians have been having a nice laugh over President Obama's supposed lack of accomplishments. While we can have a laugh over the jokes, we must also remember that the digs have no merit.
Below is a short list of accomplishments. Suffice to say, I could have gone on much longer but there are enough bullet points to show clearly and concisely that the guys done a lot.
There is so much righ-wing distortion of Obama's experience, particularly as it realtes to Isreal and the middle east. Here's an article that sets the record straight - from Jack Rosen Note: Rosen, Chairman of the American Jewish Congress, supported George W. Bush in 2004!

Today the NY Times published another article on under the general rubric of "Obama moves to the center" or "Left is disappointed." (See http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/13/us/politics/13liberal.html?scp=1&sq=obama+move+center&st=nyt) By my count, this was the sixth such article in a week by the Times and one that provided no new content. Regardless of what you think of the merits of the underlying argument, the mere repetition of these stories, with no additional information, is not news. Shame on the paper of record.
