McSame campaign guilty of voter caging!

The story is all over Progressive Talk Radio today about the McCain campaign sending absentee ballot applications to registered democrats or people that have donated to Obama's campaign. These ballots are deliberately misleading and have postage paid return addresses that are for an election clerk that is outside of your city or town. What this will end up doing is either having your vote not counted, or if you return one of these, they will cite you for election fraud, saying that you already voted absentee.

These ballots are only being sent out in 'purple states' and this is a big deal.. This is called voter caging, and is a huge problem.

The McCain campaign is stealing this election as we speak. Please get this information out to as many people as you can, and tell anyone you know who has received one of these ballots that they need to contact their city election clerk or the supervisor of elections immediately.

Also call the local media and let them know what is going on.

The main stream media is never going to cover this so we have to depend on our ground campaign to get the word out to our voters

VOTE SMART: DON'T LET RACE BE A FACTOR!

Will race be a factor in the election….· Absolutely yes! It is a disgrace that people will vote against their own interests just to prevent an African-American from being elected President. However, you must remember that Sen. Obama will continue to have health coverage for his family, be able to fill his tank with gas, heat his house, and all the things we, the middle-class, won’t be able to do with a McCain-Palin administration.
Senator Barack Obama will be fine as he has the means to weather another disastrous, economic McSame administration. Go ahead, vote against the black man, but rest assure that Senator Barack Obama will be fine. He will not be hurt by McSame economics. I’m sure he’ll make millions more in book deals, speaking engagements, etc. I take comfort that he will be just fine. I do worry about the rest of us though. · If you’re drowning and a man is throwing you a rope, what difference does his race make? We are drowning and I hope America is better in 2008 than it was in my father’s day. Ignorance has always been a trait of bigots, I hope they are smart enough to grab the rope or we will all drown. · I’m a White woman in my 40’s who’s Pro-Obama and I definitely think race is an issue NO ONE is talking about. Otherwise, you couldn’t possibly explain why people are supporting a man who thinks that the fundamentals of the economy are still strong and a Pin-Up Girl for the GOP Let’s elect someone who could actually help the middle-class this time. VOTE SMART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

REPUBLICANS TRYING TO STALL "TROOPERGATE" INVESTIGATION

Looks like the Republicans are up to their same dirty old tricks! It seems as if the Republicans are trying desperately to cover up what could be an extremely embarrasing moment for both Palin and McSame. The member of Palin's staff who was caught on tape in the "Troopergate" scandal has gone back on his word and has decided NOT to testify (Palin has hired a lawyer). Because he and Governor Palin had agreed to cooperate and offer their testimony, no subpoenas were issued (see what happens when you trust Republicans). The findings of the "Troopergate" scandal were to be released in late October (just before the election), but with the uncooperative nature of Governor Palin and her staff person, it seems as if the investigation will be delayed. It is imperative that we not allow the Republican Party to sweep this issue under the rug!!!

It's funny, John McSame's campaign motto is "Country First," yet his VP choice (Sarah Palin) once was a member of a secessionist group, the Alaskan Independence Party. The motto of the Alaskan Independence Party is "Alaska First-Alaska Always." The chairman of the AIP claims that Palin and her husband were members in 1994, even attending the 1994 statewide convention. Of course John McSame and the Republicans immediately denied that Palin was ever a member of the AIP( what did you expect). I do not believe we can call Palin a member of this group until more information is uncovered, but I do believe she is sympathetic to this groups secessionist cause. As I was watching the Sunday morning political shows I could not believe that Sarah Palin's foreign/national policy experience was almost NEVER scrutinized! The political commentators praised Palin for being a hockey mom and participating in the PTA, but never dwelled on her political inexperience or the "troopergate" scandal. Let's face it, this was a desperation move on John McSame's behalf in an effort to attract the female vote. But, before any women decide to flee the Obama campaign and back Palin just because she shares the same gender, you should know that Sarah Palin does not support womens issues. SARAH PALIN DOES NOT SUPPORT EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK!!!! If you are someone who is seriously interested in forwarding the female agenda, then you would be a fool to support the MCSAME/PALIN ticket!

I was happy to see Barack nail John McSame to the cross last night and I was even happier to see that McSame bungled his VP pick! But, we cannot take anything for granted in this election and that is why I am urging you to begin an email campaign to Barack Obama. You see, I live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (large black & hispanic population), a key battleground state, and Barack has only spoke in my city once (Democratic Primaries) and even then he never came into any minority communities. In fact, Barack is in Pennsylvania at this very minute and he has once again bypassed Philadelphia. It has already been mentioned that Barack will have to garner 1/2 million votes in Philadelphia to counter the strong Republican vote in Central and Western Pennsylvania! If Barack expects blacks and hispanics to automatically fall in line and cast their vote for him because he is a minority, then he is sadly mistaken. IN ANY ELECTION, POTENTIAL VOTERS MUST FEEL APPRECIATED!!!!! Barack Obama is dropping the ball with respect to urban minority populations in key battleground states and it may cost him dearly. It is not enough to send representatives to the inner city ghettos or open field offices, Barack himself must visit the people. Bill Clinton had no problem with visiting one of the worst areas of Philadelphia when he was running for president; why can't Barack?

I believe Joe Biden is an excellent pick as Veep because of his strong foreign policy experience. Unfortunately, John McSame and the Republicans do not agree, they will soon begin running an ad stating Hillary Clinton was the best choice for V.P. and was not even considered by Barack Obama. The intentions of the Republicans are obvious, they want to deepen the chasm that already exists among some disgruntled Hillary supporters and the rest of the Democratic base. It is now time for us to come together as a party and stop whining over what could have been. There is absolutely no reason why John McSame should be so close to Barack in the polls. Once again, John McSame has been caught in another lie. When asked about his opinion on adoption during the Faith Forum held last week, McSame stated that his wife Cindy had adopted a child at the urging of Mother Teresa while in Bangladesh. As it turns out, Cindy McSame had never met or spoken with Mother Teresa on the trip in question. John McSame lied to Americans once again in an effort to sway our votes; what a loser!!!!!
