As you may know by now from an email I sent earlier, I am looking for volunteers to go out and get people registered to vote, and promote Barack Obama during this time. As of this time I'm wanting to do this on Saturday, November 10.
We need to get out into the publics eye and make a miracle happen. To do this I need as much help as possible. Now is the time we can change the way politics are done in Washington, and that is done by doing everything we can to get Barack Obama elected as President.
If you have a few extra hours and are willing to lend us a hand, get in touch with me within the next few days so we can go over the details. I look forward to working with all of you on this project.
I just found out about a trip to S. Carolina that some of you may want to join in on. If you want more information about this, go here -----> http://my.barackobama.com/page/dashboard/public/gGMlpj and send a message to Zach Marshall. He will be glad to help anyone with information about this.
Have a great time if any of you decide to join him and his group.
As some of you may have noticed, I have donated $10.00 to our fundraising campaign for Barack Obama. I hope that I will not be the only one to donate money to his campaign from our fundraising efforts (hint, nod, wink), so I ask that everyone get the word out that we are actively working to raise $5,000.00 not only for a great cause, but also we are entered to win a contest. According to what I read here at barackobama.com is that the top three groups that raise the most money will win the grand prize: a chance for the top three groups to speak directly to Barack on a conference call in October. For more information on this, click on this link -----> http://my.barackobama.com/page/content/actioncenter/gfcguide/ for all the finer details. By the way, I know that my little $10.00 donation isn't much, but I will be contributing more in the coming weeks. I just wanted to get it started and to let you all know that I am going to be donating as well.
That's all I have for now, so check back later. Have a great week!
As I listened to the senator from Illinois speak the best phrase in my opinion was, "We can do it!" The most important word in that sentence is, "We." How long has it been since we have actually heard a politician say that he wants not to do it by him/herself and request us to help?
I'm not going to write a lot this time, but until I do write again please let that sink in on what Sen. Obama is saying. In my opinion it sounds like that he realizes that for him to win the Democratic nomination he will need each and everyone of us to send as much money as we can so he will be able to keep up with the big bucks (and in bucks I'm not talking only monitarily).
Of course there are many other ways he means, "We", I'm only bringing up one case. Let's hear from some of the readers of this and see what other ways he meant.
Until next time, Go Obama!
