So, Redroom.com is going to be this Myspace for writers it seems. The selection process on whom is deemed worthy of being able to create an author page is rather lengthy, but they deemed me worthy and so I have my very own (still in probation mode) page located here:

Why does this have anything to do with this site? Well, redroom allows its authors to choose up to 5 causes that they will donate proceeds of their ad revenue to and one of my causes is the Obama presidential campaign. So Lets hope that once I go official on Wed night I get a lot of hits so the campaign gets a nice bump.
Hillary Clinton's campaign has constantly gone to great lengths to build up John McCain at the cost of the other democratic candidate. It's one thing to be competitive but quite another to make a case of "if it can't be me, no one should have it."
I meant to write a blog last night after I created my account, but sleep claimed me and I was losing track of all the things that were making me mad. So here it is, my first official post, with who knows how many people are going to read it.
I am going to cover quite a few topics from the recent "flaps" the media has decended upon, as well as touch on the race discussion that Barack Obama challenged each and every one of us to take part in. Probably more and I will warn you I go on tangents fairly easy and consistantly.
I know it's probably an mathmatical impossibility to think Obama would see my lone message among the chorus of voices but hopefully I might be able to shed some light on how to deal with some of the 'vultures' in the media, not a blanket term, but a description of "headline hawks" that go for soundbytes at the cost of context.
