How nice to be interviewed by the Huffington Post.
Even better to get published! Here is the link...
As a lifelong Republican, I bow my head in shame as another of my comrades, in a growing list, commits an abomination in his writings, "The Obama Nation."
Mr. Corsi has perverted the very core of the values I hold dear as a proud Republican. I may disagree with Obama, but I can do so respectively - something Mr. Corsi, and frankly John McCain, cannot seem to understand. Deception, lies, and hypocrisy are the most heinous of sins one can commit, yet Mr. Corsi repeatedly finds comfort in these malicious activities. I am even further disappointed that John McCain, whom I voted for in the primary, has reverted to such evil and disgraceful acts. Shame on all of you, my fallen comrades, who slump to such low moral and ethical ground. Shame. I may disagree with Obama most of the time, but I can do so without being disagreeable (Obama said that). I find that Mr. Obama has run a respectful and uplifting campaign, one that John McCain should learn from. Obama certainly does not deserve Mr. Corsi's despicable publication, which I agree is unfit for publication. To this end, I do not see any help for Mr. Corsi, Mr. McCain, or the likes of those who have followed in their perverted footsteps.
I pledge my vote this year to Obama, a man of good character and values.

When I saw the clip of Obama dancing on stage from a while back, I thought this quote would be very relevant... and indeed, uplifting.
I am posting TWO terrific quotes today, both from great minds spanning across several centuries.
First is Einstein speaking about changing the mindset that causes problems.
Second is Plato talking about unity.
Enjoy!
A simple and true Native American Proverb that we should all consider when thinking and acting with regards to our environment.
“We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children.”
A very relevant thought on change and hope, and about moving forward...
“Today is not yesterday: we ourselves change; how can our works and thoughts, if they are always to be the fittest, continue always the same? Change, indeed is painful; yet ever needful; and if memory have its force and worth, so also has hope.”
Thomas Carlyle (1795-1881, Sottish Philosopher)
It is truly wonderful that politicians, philosophers, authors, and people like you and me, throughout the ages until modern times have believed in change and hope.
“All great things are simple, and many can be expressed in single words: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.“
Sir Winston Churchill
I would like to share why, as a Republican, I am voting for Obama
I have been very fond of Ancient Greek and Roman history, and I came across an old speech by Julius Caesar. One part, in particular is as true today as it was then. And the point drilled into my soul regarding what has happened after 9-11 with Iraq and our emotions, actions, freedoms, and concessions.
Look what we have done. Look what we have become. Please pass along the link to my blog to ensure that we, as a Nation, only elect the one person who can bring about true change, and bring respect and dignity back to our home and our hearts.
